@Chogroka Unfortunately I must agree...the SH games now are a pathetic shadow of what these ones were. They're all just failed attempts at copying what the originals did. SH is no longer about the deep, psychological morbidness of the human condition, but rather about nasty looking monsters(with little symbolic meaning), and desperately trying to throw in plot twists akin to SH2. Such a shame that one of the most artistic, meaningful game series' is down the shit hole.

@OmegaOwA yeah, i really enjoyed 1-3 and origins. but homecoming was really a big change for me, story wise and gameplay wise. im not really saying it was a bad game, it just had a different feel, it felt more like a fighting game more than a scary silent hill game. the new one looks decent, but i cant really judge yet.

Silent Hill music is an acquired taste. Not many people get it, so they write it off as "boring". Listening to Akira's stuff is better than sitting through the trash they put on the radio, if you ask me.

Akira Yamaoka is a brilliant man in my opinion...I have been in love with the Silent Hill soundtrack of Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2, and Silent Hill 3.
