u need to install a fan-made program that unlocks heaps of playable content that didnt make it into the original game.

KOTOR2 was very badly rushed, and the developers couldnt include about half the content they had been working on. google 'kotor2 restoration'

There are incomplete modules at Team Gizka's website you can download so you can play in the factory. Team Gizka is restoring that area of the game with the TSLRP.
