It is a good game and has a lot of room to improve.The problem right now is not enough cards in the set,for obvious reasons,they need to make the animations/figures that the card game doesn't have,so this takes a lot more work to get where the card game is at.Over time i would say maybe by time it has 3 sets,it should be pretty darn good.

Guys, the only reason this looks bad is because it has the Magic title. If it had its own canon and took some elements from Magic like it did, I bet your reviews would be a bit less flaming. Has anyone seen Etherlords? It is fairly good and has a few Magic elements. However, it does not wear the Magic title and was thus not compared.

This looks like it would be fun... IF IT WAS ACTUALLY ANYTHING LIKE THE ACTUAL CARD GAME. But really, if they had ACTUAL summoning sickness instead of going to the top of the inititive que... Or being able to play against friends, or being able to have more than one color. Really, this would be dun of they had those things, and more.

@Madhofd you do realize the game itself costs nothing. You just buy cards, like the physical game. This adds a great battle matt/tactics aspect to the card game. Plus it has a campaign mode which is quite fun.

I'll check out the game when its released. I like magic the gathering in concept, but I lost my attention span for card games after they were band from schools and I didn't haven't anyone else to play with...man, I miss elementary school. Hoperfully, the change in gameplay will help me keep in touch with the game.
