  • very cute

  • WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE MUSIC?

  • @tommyasoful I changed it back. It will be back to normal by tomorrow. I do not own the rights to the music and google keeps asking me if i want to monitize this video. I tried their audio swap tool. I decided not to monitize the video. It just too cute.

  • aww italian greyhounds are my favorite kind of dogs. they're adorable <3

  • @Teraperf that's not true at all they are mostly lap dogs they are low energy dogs who rather lay down all day.

  • @xlildeebomb13x Agreed. They get antsy every once in a while if they NEVER get exercise. But the only time they get that way is when the weather is really bad and they have not been walked or taken to the dog park in a week. Overall, they prefer to lay around. Mostly on our lap.

  • I haven't logged on to youtube for years, but I had to log in now just to comment this video. This video was adorable, and it shows just how loving, loyal and quiet dogs they are :) Thanks for sharing!

  • I want this video on my L600v unit.

  • THAT is heaven!

  • Lovely to watch

  • SO CUTEEEE

  • Awww I have a greyhound but I'd love to have an Italian too but they're so hyper!!

  • @ansol2006 It's true they can be a very high energy dog and love to move around. But they tend to have only two settings: super fast and then nothing. They can be bolting around the backyard one minute but inside the house they just want to cuddle and sleep.

  • It must be cool to have such an affectionate animal....I envy you.

  • Lovely dogs you got there! The grey one in your lap looks so alike my IG, Holly. I too adopted her when she was two years old. She stole our hearts the day I got her. How I miss her. She was the most affectionate dog I have ever had. She was so happy. Her favorite place was on my lap. I held her in my arms when she passed away.

Your dogs seems so happy, they must love you very much. They are lucky you adopted them :)

  • Awe that is totally adorable ;-) your dog looks like its smiling too. Enjoy ;-) x x x

  • Is that dog a love bug...OR WHAT?

  • KISSY KISSY SNUGGLE TIME!! You are a very lucky person.

  • Getting my iggy pup in 4 days!! :D woohoo!

  • che bello....

  • ADORABLE!:D

  • This video is popular on Bucharest

  • my Italian greyhound is such a bastard :( but i still love him ♥ :D

  • We are thinking of getting one to keep our English Bull Terrier company duriing the day and we love them to.

  • Reminds me of my IG that I lost last week... she loved to give kisses, was very good at the "sneak lick" to the face! Yours are beautiful!

  • its so good to see that you actually love and care about your dogs. nowadays you can hear about so many sad stories when people starve their pets, or simply get bored of them and get rid of them. selfish idiots.

  • Oh that is beyond sweet......

  • Possibly the two most beautiful dogs I've ever seen :-)

  • how much weed had that dog smoked ? XDXD

  • Hands down, Italian Greyhounds are the most affectionate breed of dogs. My IG, Zumi loves to put her face against my mouth so I can give her kisses, not the other way around. She loves to give hugs too. Your IG is beautiful and so loveable.

  • How lovely33

  • that is a beautiful & gorgeous dog.

  • @Doomshark3 Thank you. I agree. If you click on "Show More" under the video, there are links to another video and photos.

  • i love that your iggies are rescues! being trying to find an iggy for adoption, but there doesn't seem to be any in south africa.

  • IF you want to find out more about any breeds check out akc org, or animal planet com with link to pets 101. there you should find a host of info for all sorts of breeds of dogs and cats. and others spieces

  • @scorpion19142001 Great advice. Everyone should research before they buy.

  • Do you think an IG would be good with a mini alaskan klee kai?

  • @missymayer24 Forwarding a post from scorpion19142001: "IF you want to find out more about any breeds check out akc org, or animal planet com with link to pets 101. there you should find a host of info for all sorts of breeds of dogs and cats. and others spieces." I agree. Do some research before you buy and breed. An IG and a mini Alaskan should be fine. IGs get along well with other dogs. I would just avoid really big dogs.

  • Awww he's like: more kisses mama! I wubb youz

  • Makes me want one more=)

  • What awesome sweet dogs are these!! I hope that i can have one in a few years!

  • I really really really want a italian greyhound but am finding it idifficult to find a in depth guide of what can be difficult about caring for one. What quirks do they have? What would I have to do on a daily basis and if i were to adopt one (after extensive research ofcourse) would the adopted grey hound have bad habit or a bad attitude? is it not safer to just buy one from puppy and raise it? Also how difficult are they to potty train? How long would it take to litter train one? Regards :)

  • Whenever i see greyhounds and whippets, their behaviour so much reminds me of my border-collie. she is very greyhound like.

  • @nameless212

they dont shed at all ive had these dogs for 4 years now,.

  • @nameless212 They shed, but its not very noticable. Please research the breed before you get one and PLEASE do not mail order one and PLEASE don't go to a pet store. try petfinder . org and adopt one. All three of mine were shelter/rescue dogs. You'll save a ton of money too.

  • My IG likes me to hold her nose lol I dont know why but there ya go lol

  • I have a 7 month old male Italian Greyhound. Im thinking about adding another IG. It will be his brother from a different litter. What are your thoughts? Is it much more work or will it make my life easier? With me being the only one at home he is constantly begging for attention.....I think he needs a playmate

  • @jtmichae2 IGs are best when there are more than one. They play together, keep each other company and become cuddle up together. Get another. You'll be glad. I have three.

  • awwwww soo cute i have italian greyhound as well, can you watch it? please?

  • niaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • my ig, bella, does the same thing. i love it.

  • Do Italian Greyhounds get along well with other dogs? I'm thinking of getting one, but I have a very playful Maltese.

  • @NellyNutmeg Yes. But it's best that you have a small dog. IGs sometimes act like they are Spiderman and bounce off the walls. The last thing you want is a big dog playing with them in a small room and having the big dog land on the IG and break its leg. Please do lots of research before you get one. They have their quirks and they don't potty train fast as pups. People abandon them for that reason. And please try to adopt. Try petfinder . org

  • @crjoker we have a big dog and an italian grey, they're best friends =)

  • My dalmatian baby does the same thing! haha

  • GAH!!! WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER THE NAME OF THIS SONG!!! I'm going to die a little inside each day I don't figure out the name hahaha

  • awww,so lovely :-)

  • So so sweet!

  • That is so sweet! I just know when he flips his head back, he's thinking "more kisses, mama!"

  • I remembered to look today at Target and they were there. I got two cards!

  • aw those are pretty big looking for IG's. mine is sooo tiny and she's 5 years old. adorable dogs :)

  • My IG, Pistol, does that head flip and look upside down to me and my boyfriend too. We say, "He's doing upside down head again". He just really can never get enough affection! It is funny seeing it on someone else :) your guy is just the cutest!!

  • I want an italian greyhound next. Always had dachshunds, and love them to death, but could do without the barking. Adorable dog:-)

  • Beautiful! My IG died in January after a battle with kidney failure at only 3 1/2... I miss him so much but your blue made me remember him and smile... :)

  • I'm interested in rescue and just not fire where to go. My greyhound died 2 months ago . I would like to adopt an Italian greyhound now. Sweet dogs btw....

  • Beautiful! The little grey one seems especially cuddly. Also, I like the idea of greyhound that doesn't take up ALL the room on the sofa....big greyhound owners will know what I mean....:)

  • @octolou8 Check out part 2. The link is under the video description. She does this every night.

  • do you have to be careful with their bones ie are they more prone to bone injuries than normal whippets? Also, do you know what they are like with cats? Thanks

  • @gwyn1971 They can break a bone easily, but the biggest risk is when they are puppies. IG pups think they are flying squirrels. By a year and 1/2 they calm down. Make sure they can't get on counters or high places. Make sure you have a tall fence. They can jump and climb. As for cats, they are very cat like. Once an IG and cats get familiar with each other, they pretty much spend all their time in a big fur pile. IGs are one of the few dog breeds that can match a cat's reflexes and agility.

  • @gwyn1971

Italian greyhounds and full size greyhounds share identical blood lines. The whippet's a bit a terrier it from scotland.

We have a fawn colored IG and she's pretty sturdy. Others seem to be more delicate. She is excellent with children and babies. It's mostly the dog that has to worry about the young children squeezing them to hard (mostly when the dog is a pup). Sort of like pet baby duck or chicks (kids hurt them frequently by squeezing them too hard).

  • @welder3230 Awesome. Adoption is a must. And research the breed so you know what you are in for. The can be a handful sometimes if you're not prepared.

  • Oh that looks exactly like me and my whippet girl...she's totally spoiled too :D

  • melts one away

  • Our iggy romeo does the same. We have 2 iggies from breeders and 2 are rescues as well. They are the most unique breed and theyre so loving

  • Ha my neighbour has one of these and they're awesome! She was about a year old and it took 9 months for her to get used to me. Now she is just like in this video and yep, I nibble her ears.

  • My dog Stella puts her face up to mine this way. She does it to our other dog, too. It's an expression of affection, but also of submission. :)

  • Iggies are the best!

  • Good to see they calm down when they are older

We just got an IG puppy a few months ago and she is hyper all the time! XD

  • How can someone dislike this? The sweetest thing ever!

  • is that a basenji?

  • @kaylinmarie2895 See title of video. Notice the subject is plural.

  • An Italian Greyhound is probably the only dog I would ever consider getting. They seem to bark very little and they don't smell musky like most dogs. They look so precious and adorable. I want one so much. So cute.

  • Just watching Amelie lifts my spirits up after a hard day at work.

  • Wow! Unbelievable and beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

  • AWWWW my Nico does the same thing to my face.....I always say he's "romancing" me....

  • your dogs are beautiful!!! :D i've always wanted one and your brown one seems to have such affection for you! with an adorable personality [B <3

  • The background music is La Valse d'Amélie (version orchestre) by Yann Tiersen.

  • @spentfromnz Wow! My dog's name is Ameli! What a strange coincidence! :-p

  • @crjoker

Yeah but what makes it even weirder is that the song is from a movie named Amelie, and the star of the movie is also, surprise surprise, a woman named Amelie. Freaky huh.

    Anyway, cute movie, cute dog.

  • i got a 5 yr old IG and he does the same thing. he puts his head right under my chin. so loving.

  • You and your wife are very lucky to have her, you know that? She is full of emotion!

  • I have a big greyhound, and I am happy to see I am not the only person who spoils my dog totally rotten hehe

  • @alsearider I was very excited to find out that the big greyhounds are just as sweet and loving as the IGs. They are just harder to carry around like babies.

  • @crjoker I don't know what you're talking about! I have no problem lugging my 70 pound baby around ;] hahahaha. Just joking. But really, he loves sitting in my lap. I think he knows how uncomfortable I get when I can't feel my legs! lol.

  • que cosita mas hermosa

  • @coolpitulina gracias

  • Way too cute! Love it! I have a IG mix and she does the same thing. Too sweet

  • pause at 0:01. TOO CUTE....CANT RESIST

  • awww so cute!

  • I want to cuddle with you like that.

  • @Sixstrings81 Again? You're so needy!

  • Beautiful!!!!!

  • i heard they leak in the house

  • @DJTEVAdotCOM you heard wrong.

  • Oh I also like dogs with sleek and slender bodies! Their wonderful.

  • that's love

  • @dberry1052 She does this nightly. I love it. Her new thing is to gently careess her face into ours. I have trouble getting out of bed in the morning because she wants to cuddle. And she is only one of three very affectionate Italian Greyhounds we have. All adoptions/rescues, I might add.

  • @crjoker we are wanting to get one too but we live in az and there are like NONE! where did you get yours

  • @kayla05westy We got Amelie from IGCA Rescue. We got Nino from a shelter near Salt Lake City, UT. Drove 5 hours to rescue him. We got Lou from the Las Vegas Humane Society. We were fostering him and after a week we caved in and kept him as our own.

I REALLY recommend that you rescue/adopt one rather than go to a pet store or breeder.

Get on GOOGLE and search for:

"Wiseguys Italian Greyhound Rescue - Available for Adoption"

    "Available IG Rescues in Arizona"

    also try petfinder. org

  • mine does the same!!!

  • That is soooo CUTE AND ADORABLE! i want an Italian Greyhound so bad!!

  • Awww, the blue one looks like my Marley!

  • I was just watching Dogs 101... they are awesome!

  • Aw, I loved it when she threw her head back to be kissed. :3

  • cute doggies! my whippet's the same way

  • i have an italian greyhound and urs is huge and adorable

  • My little bella does the same thing! There's a fine line between showing affection and using me as a scratching post. I often wonder which side of the line she's one. Lol

  • This is so adorable, my iggy does the same thing he loves to be as close to me as possible :)

  • I watch this everyday too it is so lovely ! My I G Jack is 8 months old and looks just like this one - he snuggles in like the video too- igs are gorgeous !

  • I watch this everyday too it is so lovely ! My I G Jack is 8 months old and looks just like this one - he snuggles in like the video too- igs are gorgeous

  • I watch this video at least once a day, it makes my heart melt.

  • @jaclynelise Wow. Thanks!

  • We have an IG and this is just the disposition of them. She gives lots of love and also lots of heat under the sheets!

  • Could he get any closer?!! So cute

  • What an adorable, precious pup. I was very close to getting an IG but instead went for a Whippet because of the apparent housebreaking issues. Still would love to get an IG..... or Whippet.... or both. haha. Just such a great, adorable breed! SO Sweet!!!

  • @ZbmwM5 IG's are a chore until about 1.5 years old. But a dog door cures that. We still crate trained ours so they wouldn't climb up on the counter, leap and break a leg. Ours were adopted at 5, 9 and 14 months old.

  • I love this , it always makes me cry ! I love my Ig he is just like yours

  • That is just like my dog Dj because he has the same color and personality

  • I had a vet once tell me that Dogs didn't know how to love or remember. Vid's like this prove that "theory" wrong. Really great video.

  • @precision40 Wow. I can see someone making the point that dogs don't love on a deep intelectual level like people, but dogs bond with people and other dogs. I call that love. As for remembering, that's an odd comment for a vet to make. They don't remember phone #'s, but they people, places and they remember that certain things, like me putting on my shoes, means I am leaving the house and will likely give them a treat. I know, condition and response. But that is how humans remember things too.

  • i dont know if to get an IG or a dauchound

  • @powerenslaver IG's require lots of attention, don't potty train quickly when they are puppies (small bladders) and they are best when you have more than one. I would research the breeds first so you know what you are getting into. I know nothing about dachshunds.

  • @crjoker ok thanks

  • @powerenslaver Ive got both- get both !! so lush

  • I love this. Although she looks like she's getting you in face pretty good, I have to respect that all she wants is kisses. :-) Mine only wants pets. But he will suffer through the kisses for pets and rubbings. This video makes me smile.

  • That is what true love looks like : )

  • Oh how sweet! My little IG's, Venice and Siena, do the very same thing. I cannot imagine my life without them. Thank you for sharing.

  • We have one too. Cassie is 4 and she is a total treasure!!

  • Oh! They are so precious! Very beautiful dogs.

  • Every video I watch with this breed of dogs, they all show such affection, how could u not love a dog like that!? Yours is absolutely adorable, I can see why you love them! =)

  • This is so cute. We also have an IG who is very much the same (ours even looks like yours). Just out of curiosity, what sizes are your IGs? Ours has gotten very large for the breed; about the size of a small whippet (27 lbs).

  • @ambineufeld The only IG I have ever seen that was 27lbs was horribly obese. Either you have a whippet or your IG needs to lose weight. My female is large and at her peak she as 19lbs. We moderated her food a bit and she is now16lbs and in perfect shape. She is considered a large IG. Our boys are 13-15lbs and they are average.

  • @ambineufeld My IG is 16lbs and he's mistaken for a Whippet all of the time due to his big size. I've never heard of a 27lb IG... perhaps yours is really a Whippet?

  • That really is FAR TOO CUTE!!!!!

  • aww italian greyhounds are the cutest things! our dog recently passed away and we are looking at dogs and seeing which breed would be good for us. we really want an italian greyhound but my mom is concerned that it will have problems going to the bathroom around the house, or whipping out the door when someone opens it to escape.. its kind of silly but that's what she's scared of. do you ever have any problems like this? and are there any other cons about them that could be really annoying?

  • @l9PapaM Italian Greyhounds have very small bladders and do not potty train very fast. If you mom has any concern about a dog peeing in the house then you are best NOT to get an Italian Greyhound. And yes, if they sneak past you by the door and see a bird, you better be able to run 25mph or you are't gonna catch them. I have three italian greyhounds and we never let them past us when the door is open. We always have them on leash. All it would take is one pidgeon and Amelie would take off

  • @l9PapaM my IG used to race out the door when he was a puppy. He's 10yrs old this Aug 2010 and he won't go anywhere without me. I leave my front door open if the weather's nice and he sits on front porch and suns. He won't leave without me. That may have come from age and me having him since he was 6wks old. They get more and more attached to their owners over the years. Potty training is very difficult. If you're not consistent, they will have accidents.

  • so friggin sweet!

  • mine do the same! they are the best! soooo loving and sweet!

  • Sweer Iggy kisses! lol Emma does the same thing.

  • My chihuahua does the same thing! He presses his check against my lips and wants kisses. We also have a chihuahua and (we think) italian greyhound mix who is a sweetheart too!

  • So so cute...my iggy does that also...there the most loving little dogs :)

  • that is so adorable! :)

  • We hsave adopted three greyhounds. two had to be put down because of osteosarcoma. Do Iggys get this? I am considering adopting one as well!

  • @enjoythevoyage That is not a disease I have ever heard associated with IGs. IG's are prone to their own set of issues. I would research the breed first just so you know what you are getting into. They are wonderful dogs, but they can be high maintainence and many people do not like that. I, personally, think it is worth it. Go on Google and type IGCA (Italian Greyhound Club Of America) and read their ABOUT IGs section.

  • @crjoker

Thank you for your help! O I LOVE greys, but fear osteosarcoma. I now have one greyhound, Dickens (11 years) and one pitmix, Lucy (14 years). I'll continue my nresearch on Iggys--I know that I'll love to adopt one and am very knowledgeable about grteys in general. Checkout my video "Our Fur Kids Talk"! I just recently had to nput down my heart dog, Lizzie, about 3 weeks ago.

  • I have been resarching this breed for ages and I really really want one of these beautiful little dogs! This video was so cute and really cinches it for me. Can't wait til I adopt my very own IG!!!

  • I really like your last paragraph in the description. My sentiments too.

  • What do their skin feel like?

  • It's Niles' dog from Fraiser! :D

I usually dont like the thought of cuddlin up w/ a dogs ( theyre too jumpy ), but she is so affectionate and calm, and most importantly, she loox so clean!

  • Beautiful, they are so intelligent!

  • yeah i know ehat you means i just to have a italina greyhound just like the one is kissing you all over lol, into get loss, she was a very lovely dog, i miss her lot, my baby dog,,,!

  • Awe she is so sweet! Beautiful dog :)

  • So sweeeeeeeeet!

I'd love watching television like that :P
