I like a PS3 and XBox the same...But what really disturbes me is the fan of the XBox. Is your fan only on the case of the xbox and blows in/out air? Or is there any special connection to anything in the Box?

the gpu heatsink is covered by the dvd player and the cpu heatsink is covered by the fan ducts. No doubt this guy's invention helps keep it cooler. The xbox fans only spin as fast as they have to, which is usually full speed. :)

There's only two fans in the back of the 360 so it doesn't matter if you have it upright or laying down as far as blockage of fans go. By putting it upright you're actually blocking the bottom grill of the 360 which provides way better airflow than the few holes on the motherboard side. Also, he's cooling the heat sinks so had he put the fan on the other side it'd overheat pretty fast since there'd just be air cooling a bunch of PCB and a few memory chips.

think about it that way: the xbox 360 got overheating problems, and the PS3 don't got overheating problems, one way to make the xbox 360 not to overheat is to do what this guy did, the second way to make it not to overheat is by modifying the xbox 360 case, (or changing it to the xbox 360 elite case which have better cooling system).

but still the Wii is cheap because almost no one buy it so they wan people to buy it... and the PS3&XBOX360 are almost the same, just with different issues...
