Are you asking why they have their own song? From what I can gather, most divisions have their own song, most just aren't famous. Also, the artillery use to operate as a fairly separate unit (yes they supported the Army but wasn't fully coordinated until WWII). That's just what I think do not take this as fact.

@mastablasta24 um actually Marines dont always get transported by ship, lots of them get transported by AC130s and jump into enemy lines or you have the MOS which is ready in six hours, who forms a beach head and while the army fills in that area the Marines advance to the next objective, So yeah Tip of The Spear devil dog

I am married to a Marine, I am joining the ARMY.. My Grand Father was a Commanding General in the Air Force his wife a SSgnt in the USMC. I love the Men and Women of this Country who are brave enough to go through the bullshit the Government (God bless them) requires of them to serve. Are you asking why they have their own song? From what I can gather, most divisions have their own song, most just aren't famous. Also, the artillery use to operate as a fairly separate unit (yes they supported the Army but wasn't fully coordinated until WWII). That's just what I think do not take this as fact.
