  • I happen to have a water ionizer machine for making alkaline water and started using the machine on the acidic setting. The acid water is used for cleaning and does kill bacteria. After rinsing my sprouts several times in very cold water, I rinse them once more with acidic water. When the jar is getting fairly full, I let them sit in the acidic water for about 10 minutes rather than just rinsing them, Then I dran them. Also, I start them with acidic soak water and they look and smell great.

  • When I ate the infected sprouts I really thought I was going to die. All of a sudden 30 mins after eating it I felt dizzy and really nausea. The whole room was spinning around and I couldn't focus. 2 hours later I had the worst diarhea of my life.

    But I still don't now if it was my juice before the sprouts or the sprouts itself. After the incident I only ate cooked food and I recovered

  • I got e.coli eating raw sprouts, but it was because I didn't wash it. Got really sick, piled alot. And I'll still have sprouts in my sandwiches one day.. Probably when my immunity is at it's best! Thanks for sharing! Ithought it only happened to me
