My favorite film. Ever. Still to this day. I pray to God it never gets remade. I have the standee, the posters, both soundtracks and the Bishop cd this song was finally released on. Such a fantastic film. Sadly, a somewhat forgotten gem. Nick Castle never hit this height again.

Awesome visuals. Awesome sound on the song. Neither the images or sound feel "digitally remastered," they still have all their parts intact. Everything still has all the warmth and texture that our art/entertainment used to have. Everything bespeaking of infinite possibility and meaning. (And of course, Deakins looks like a goddess presented in such a way.)

I Loved this movie too! I have always wanted to fly.. To much Superman and Greatest American Hero I guess.. :-) I love Eric and Milly as they were so wonderful together...

@khasoumi14 No she hasn't been in any movies for a long time now. Her last acting role was in an episode of Law & Order in 2002. Last I heard she became a lawyer. :0)

This is a classic gem of a movie. I remember growing up I had such a crush on Milly (Lucy) I wonder what happenned to her acting career.

Excellent video!! I'm a huge fan of "The Boy Who Could Fly" (hence my username) and I love it when people make videos like this. I also think Lucy Deakins is adorable! I too wish she had made more movies than she did. She was a superb actress!!

No no, there are more of us, who could not be a fan of this wonderful movie, only people who dont have good taste.:/ But i think its a little bit underrated, thats sad. I hope that the fans will change it with this music videos and remember the others that this belong to the movie history, not like todays CGI 3D junk with no meaning in cinemas.

@87ONYX14 Yea, on some sites I went to, no one was really familiar with the movie. But then I started searching youtube....facebook, + other places and found there are many who DO still remember it. And I too so agree that this movie is underrated. I think it should've and could've been a hit in my opinion. I heard the VHS video sold very well though. But yes, this movie does belong in movie history! There is just no other movie like it in the world in my opinion!
