I think I might know another way of boosting this skill. Wear enchanted clothing will reduce you magicka use by at least 100% (when all of the pieces are added together), and then use a spell you just need to hold down a button to use (like Clairvoyance). If this works, then you can probably just keep the button held down (using tape is an example) while you do something else.
Lul at noobs who only think destruction is a usefull magic. "I cain throo fire aut mi haind"!, lol. This is by far the most usefull of the magic schools, the only problem is spells that actualy hit oponets barely get you lvld up, and this spell ranks up allmost a whole lvl at a time.
