  • i forgot to tell you, i finally did a Dreya roll!!! LOL. Oh and I hate it when my feet slip on my carpet!!!! I need to get a yoga mat, one i don't slip on. i dont slip on my carpet cause im sweating its just cause my toesies dont like my carpet i guess.

    Oh yeah, a little tip with the mat slippage and yoga, grab your self a big bath/beach towel and cover your mat with it, that stops the slipping and soaks up the dripping!

  • We have the same problem. Year and years and years of neglect built a huge gut. Now we are trying to reverse 15 years of gut building in 90 days.

    BTW: Yoga burns about the same amount of calories as Kenpo or Cardio X, it just takes twice as long (90 min. vs. 45 min.)

  • You guys gotta expand your minds a little, Yoga is great for your body and helps the muscles you are building.

    KempoX is also more effective if you actually have a bag to hit and kick... it would be one of your harder workouts instead of easiest.

  • Dude! You are an inspiration! Yoga is my favorite, I absolutely love it. A hammer, nail and 2x4 can extend a belts usefulness for a couple of weeks:) way to go!!

  • Looking great brother! Yoga is tough to fit in sometimes but man, if you can make it happen maybe in cycle 2, you will really notice the difference. For me Yoga is the hardest workout but DAMN, now I am the most flexible guy I know.

    P90X Plus, nope you don't need to jump right into it. Cycle until you want to change it up. I bought the Plus but I aint doing it until I am done with cycle 2. I am just looking forward to the new workouts and challenges.

  • I like yoga X. It burns lots of calories and works my shoulders, abs and ass cheeks. Kenpo is maybe a little too easy, but at the end of the week, I can barely get myself motivated to do anything, so I wouldn't want more.

  • I wished I liked the yoga as much as you do, but I do get a good burn from the Kenpo and also enjoy it much more. And I agree... especially Sunday.. I just want to collapse for a day and not do anything.

  • Yoga X sucks my ball sack. There are three things wrong with Yoga X. 1) It is boring as hell. 2) It is long as hell. 3) It is very uncomfortable, and sometimes painful. If it were only two the these three, it would be easier to get motivated for it.

  • Is it just me or is legs and back +abripx easily the hardest day of the week? I dread fridays man. That thing puts my heart rate through the roof more than plyo. The ab ripper when you're all tired.

  • I just completed first week of P90x. Yoga was a challenge for me too. But I have made a commitment to bring it to workouts that I am most challenged. I have found a solution for slipping hand --get the breathable gardeners gloves from homedepot. Keep pushing play brother!

  • No way will I be able to get up in the morning, exercise and then exercise again at night. Not happening. I love sleep too much. I replaced yoga with core, and my abs look sweeeeet. Of course, prior to P90X, I hated pushups or pull ups, but situps weren't that hard for me... Oh, in the legs and back video, was it Dreya making that noise or the Chicklet lady making that noise? Tony comments on it saying that it sounds like there is a bird in the work out area.

  • Yeah man, I like Kenpo WAY more than Yoga and I figure that I need to burn as many calories as possible. I need the gut gone for summer!

  • How well do you do on the diet, im in week 5, but that is for sure my biggest problem. Diet discipline is a huge problem for me. Like you, I travel a lot for work, and eating out, is part of it a lot of the times, so just wondering how you cope with that.

  • Diet is the hardest part for me, but (with the exception of my trip to Vegas) I've been trying to use common sense when I eat and stay away from stuff I know isn't good. I also remind myself of how hard Im pushing myself during these workouts and do I really want to throw away all that hard work by eating something crappy?

  • I had also pondered replacing Yoga X with core synergistics, but I too worried about overdoing it on my poor abs. I tend to mix it up from week to week, somedays I will do another Kempo, or occasionally another Plyo. My usual tendancy is do add in yet another Cardio X workout as my Yoga X replacement since I love the workout so damn much.

    My feelings on P90X+ basically mirror yours too. Would love to try it much later, but I have so so so much room to grow, it is a very long ways off.

  • Thanks! Yeah, I think my preference is the Kenpo. I may add the cardio in its place to switch things up a bit. I like the wacky jax too! As far as the + goes, yeah man.. no need for me to rush just to do it. I'll be patient and do it right. ;) Keep bringin it buddy!

    I also have developed a dislike for Yoga. I find the 10ish minutes of Yoga during the Cardio X workouts pretty much all I can handle, so I have basically stopped doing Yoga X myself. I am currently doing doubles as well (loving it, feeling amazing). I don't skip the Cardio X yoga portions though, I would feel guilty totally eliminating yoga from the program. (cont)
