I was in the special forces for 6 years 1980 - 86 and had the opportunity to train with SAS troops. In one training op. we deployed with a platoon of marine infantry. our jobs were to train the marines in unconventional warfare. While the SAS who were the aggressors searched high and low for us. Needless to say they never found us after 2 weeks in the field. SAS are a tough bunch though and have my highest respect.
