I have watched Kara and Artem's dances from last year over and over again. No one on this years SCD came up to anywhere near the standard of this wonderful pair. The best ever SCD for me ever and always will be.

I just wish we could see them dance again sometime in the future.

Yes, I do too, just finish watching the finals, they got high marks, but no dances that took my breath away. Nobody moves me emotionally like this two.

Just thought I'd look back at this to see what a really good year in Strictly looks like. I used to enjoy looking at the training sessions to see how people were getting on. We are now forced to watch stupid 'dream sequences' and unfunny 'made up story vignettes' instead of the training each week. Also, who decided Wembley was a good idea? The vastness just highlights how bad the celebrity dancers actually are. Some 'genius' is ruining something that didn't need fixing.

Simply perfect, loved Brucie's awestruck comment, he was definately a fan. I hope we get to see them dance again together at sometime, maybe on the Comic Relief live night hint hint, ps well done Kara and the rest of the trekkers on completing the desert walk, you really are a true inspiration.

There are so many beautiful moments in that dance.I cant recall the number of times I watched this and still found this amazing:).There is a bit of everything :its sexy, romantic,passionate, technically brilliant, almost erotic, and a heartfelt perfomance:) My favourite bit is from 0:50 to 0:60 , kara expression says it all:). I wish them the best :) You could really see the love that they felt for each other in that dance and Artem is a BRILLIANT choreographer and Kara is his MUSE:)

i love kara and artem! :) x i think they are far better than jennifer grey and nicole scherzinger because she hasnt had as much training as them, she has way more passion and chemistry with artem and she always looks amazing even if she falls over :) x

Beautiful, beautiful girl. Kara's partner Artem also seems to be a true Russian gentleman and a great ambassador for his country. After each dance he stood back and applauded Kara Tointon with the audience, seeding the cheers and applause to her, which I thought was incredibly kind and generous. In my opinion Kara and Artem are surely the best couple ever to appear on Strictly, with the last series being one of the best, if not the best, series in the programme's history.

This dance is the highest level of celeb dancing we've ever seen on Strictly in my opinion. Absolutely incredible level of technique and difficulty, beautifully expressed between the two of them.

I know rules are rules, but taking a mark off for lifting her foot off the floor for a brief second is so picky, it's not even reflective of pro rules. (Not intended to be a lift and so unless the foot is very high or it's for a long time, it's not treated as one.)

@rocketgirl196 You are not allowed to do any lifts in the Rhumba but if you look around 55 s when Artem picks up Kara's leg and spins her around, her other foot comes off the as well. That turns the move technically into a lift (both feet of the floor so her entire weight is being supported by Artem). That is why Kara was deducted a point by Craig. This is the same reason why he deducted a point from her Viennese Waltz on Friday.

Is that a bit harsh? Probably. I'd have given her 10!
