May be hard to believe but this one is much easier to assemble than the 5 intersecting tetrahedra...btw usually the 3rd tetrahedron is most difficult and the 5th one relatively easy ;)

My initial thoughts as well but when you look at how the edges are alligned and how the pentagrams are not really flat it comes close to a Medial Rhombic Triacontahedron as well ;)

haha. So you finally made it!! It takes quite a while but I love it. I talked with Daniel Kwan and he said he made it to resemble an abstraction of a medial triacontrahedron. But it looks so much like the small stellated dodecahedron, as well as many other things too.

I have to admit that looking at the orientation of the edges a medial rhombic triacontahedron comes closer... so let's call it a Small Medial Rhombic Triaconta -Dodecahedron or SMaRT Dodecahedron :D You have to admit that quadra-hadra-bladiblah sounds more like an obscure pharmaceutical product (sorry Daniel...and clown) ;D

hahahaha! I really like that name. Yes Quadra Hadra Puja Phedron took me atleast a half hour to remember simply because it's nonsensical. SMaRT Dodecahedron sounds perfect! :D

I don't even know what origami project to work on now. I'm working on like 5 at once so allowing me to forget the QHPP name surely will take a load off my brain.

It is actually not so hard to make and much easier than say the 5 intersecting tetrahedra. It is just a lot of work ;)
