  • Wut wut, in the wut, I say wut WUT, in the WUT, I say WUT WUT, IN THE WUT,

  • My ALL time fav movie ; )))...

  • Guess i.m smarter than he THINKS.....A.Starling ; )))...

  • I do have a weird feeling somebody's going to hate on me now, but listen carefully 0:53 and forward.

Did James Wan get his inspiration from here when making the Saw theme? Sounds damn familiar.

  • in the scene where Clarice first meets Hannibal, Anthony Hopkins made me feel uncomfortable just watching him behind the glass, it was an amazing feeling. He just played Hannibal so well

  • It rubs the lotion on my cock or it gets the hose again (awww) (awww)

  • IT looks very funny

  • I think the music at the end made it for me. My favorite movie trailer I can recall!

  • man they made trailers so awful in the 90s

  • I love this movie!!

  • Scared the shit out of me D:

  • Amazing thing about this film when you look at it Oscar-wise.....it was released in FEBRUARY!!! You definitely don't see a film these days win a "Best Picture" Oscar by being released that early (most winners now days are released in like November/December!)>

  • It rubs the lotion on it's skin.

  • @WTFLEETERS or else it gets the hose again (;<

  • I haven't seen the film but I'm reading the book at the moment and can't put it down. For some reason I picture Dr Lecter as Jeremy Irons; he would have been great in the role in my opinion.

  • wheres the lambs wearing ear muffs!?!?!

  • @detroit4lyf LOL!

  • Sooo...... this has nothing to do with lambs?

  • @Nherwyziant watch the movie and then you now ;)

  • I think that lady played the voice of Mrs. Incredible in The Incredibles...

  • @TheSpiritSearcher15 nope. that was holly hunter. see what you mean, though. they do sound alike.

  • Good god that is some incredible acting right there.

  • Now I know where South Park got the parody of the toilet paper housing episode from.

  • I love Hannibal's character in this, I also like the way he messes with peoples heads and talks

  • Does anyone know where I can download the trailer?

  • Jts a masterpiece.

  • Watched this, Cookoo Nest and Rain Man for the first time this year and all I can say is talk about King's Speech or Black Swan are WAY over hyped.

Films are not made like this anymore...or perhaps we need better authors.

  • Not even 3 seconds into the trailer and I jump out of my seat...

  • Anthony Hopkins: Probably one of the best actors of all times!

  • One of the best movies i have ever seen!

  • you know a mystery/thriller movie is good when you still get tense even after youve already seen the movie 4 times

  • Check freegamemovieblogspotcom to download this movie.

  • why jodi foster isn't in hannibal??

  • No 1

  • This movie made me freak myself of getting false alarm in every scene, not fun at all, but after this movie and the next will be Hannibal. This Lamb is the masterpiece.

  • 7 people took an arrow to the knee

  • it really sucks that jodie foster isnt in the other movies...

  • Would you do me? I'd do me. I'd do me so hard!

  • One of the best movies ever made!

  • added to the film registry...i hope they get a re-issue on bluray for its 20th next year.

  • "I eat these rappers, anthony hopkins." Lil wayne. Hussle hard remix

  • The one film that I've been wanting to watch for such a long time, but I can never find enough time to see it :(

  • anthony hopkins and jodi foster made a really good team in this film

  • This is based on a true story and my grandpa worked at the same prison that they kept the killer in, his name was Ed gein

  • @chrisverhaagh Ed Gein is supposed to be Leatherface dumbass not Hannibal

  • @01Sjohn he means buffalo bill, hes the main killer in the movie

  • @chrisverhaagh Ed Gein never divulged in cannibalism but he was a body snatcher and killed two women. Police didn't catch him and imprison him till the very end, so he doesn’t have much similarity to Hannibal Lector the only slight resemblance is that of Buffalo Bill who was derived from real serial killer events, in particular Ed Gein, Albert Fish & Jeffrey Dahmer ( Dahmer/Fish both cannibals).

  • @chrisverhaagh in Wakefield ?

  • @chrisverhaagh Actually, the primary inspiration was Robert John Maudsley. Check Wikipedia.

  • It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again!

  • i fucked ur mum

  • im fond of this film

  • *fap fap fap fap* "I can smell your cunt" .... he is such a ladies man I bet!!! ;)

  • Peanut butter toast, yummerz.

  • The movie is to old.

  • @Shqiptarivertet no it is not. also it would be too old. not to old.

  • @SludgePunkGrunge

Who are you trying to educate, punk? It was a mistype. Fucking get on my nerves, idiot..

  • This is what a classic scary movie. Screw "Saw". Nothing but repeats of itself.

  • PUT THE LOTION IN THE BASKET!!

  • anthony hopkins MY MAN!

  • This is the way you make movies : with creativity, courage, and a conviction that the world must see what they have never seen before.

  • She trying to track down Ed Gein. I know his name is Bufflo Bill but what he did was based on Ed Gein. So it's like she's trying to track down Ed Gein but instead of being mental and derranged like the real Ed Gein was. He just kills because he chose to.

  • Now to wait for the hack writers and directors of Hollywood to male a shitty remake of this amazing art of a movie, just like every great movie of the 20th century. Whopti-fukin-do

  • this movie is great .. i can feel the darkness while watching this it seems that a devill mind is behind this movie . in a scale of 1-10 ill give this a perfect 10 ^ ^

  • I didn't understand a thing or I hope I didn't cause from what I understood, it's not scary at all (except for the skinning victims thing)

  • @MusaVoice not a horror film its a psychological thriller and one of the greatest movies ever

  • Put the FUCKING LOTION IN THE BASKET!

  • is she the voice of mrs incredible?

  • @BanginBASICS That was Holly Hunter. But Jodie Foster does sound so much like Holly Hunter in this movie with that accent.

  • Why is this film called "The Silence of the Lambs"?

  • @felixolshanetzky Have you even watched the film, to understand why the movie is titled that? Watch it and you'll understand.

  • @felixolshanetzky It was based on the novel "The Silence of the Lambs" by Thomas Harris. The title is explained, more so in the novel, you just have to watch the film or read the book. (I say read the novel first, though.)

  • serbian silence of the lambs .youtube.com/watch?v=Mjlb59q7IzQ

  • Great movie and book! The only thing I never understood in any of them was the scene where Clarice and Crawford arrive to the West Virginia funeral parlor and Crawford takes the police boss away. Why did he took him away and didn´t discuss anything in Front of her? Although they kind of explain why, I didn´t understood why Crawford did that.

  • It puts the lotion on it's skin....

  • This is a fukin scary movie.

  • @hiparisnguyen The book is even scarier

  • wtf.. compare this to scary movies nowadays and they don't have a chance..

  • This is a scary movie. Not one that has tons of blood or emotions but one that creeps you out and makes you jump out of your seat every now and then.

  • why does lecter kill dr chilton

  • ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew

  • He wants to eat her rofl^^

  • They sure as fuck don't make movies like they used to. Especially scary ones like these.

  • @TheUnderNetwork It takes skill to make a scary movie without gore. That's stuff just isn't scary.

  • 6 people were serial killers

  • This is a great movie. One of my faves. Jodie Foster is a brilliant actress, and Anthony Hopkins is amazing as well.

  • One of a kind movie

  • Impossible to dislike this film. It's not about being a scary film or making you cry. It's about the creativity in relation to characters and themes, the suspense and curiosity that emerges whilst watching. It's very interesting and it's a very well made film that obviously comes from a brilliant novel by Thomas Harris and I love it.

Definitely deserved being considered as a major classic film now.

  • @justlikeclouds I think this movie has great, probably unseen before suspense management, and simply stunning cinematography; and I just can't get enough of Jodie Foster. But I think her performance, just like the writing of her character, was weak; I think 16 minutes (out of 110 without titles) should not be enough to win the Oscar for best actor; plus, I found the movie not to be engaging, enthralling enough.

I think it's overrated. And I just saw it about 10 minutes ago.

  • holy shit even the way anthony hopkins said his line in the end was freakkaay

  • At 0;33 he has the same cell in his movie Red Dragon

  • is this movie still scary compared to modern horror movies?

  • @jorischkovich In my opinion, it makes most modern horror films look like utter cr*p.

  • @jorischkovich It is one million times scarier than most modern horror movies. Ask anyone who's seen it ! It puts them to shame.

  • fell asleep when watching this for the first time

    zzz

  • @NicoleeJonesy haha Thanks that makes since ;)

  • @faatmaan01 haha no has nothing to do with lambs but he is a canibal and in the movie he loves lambs (which is meat) and to make lamb meat you have to kill them and there silent,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,back then they took there tiltes seriously

  • @123airstrike no, he when she is talking to him he she says she tried to run away because of the screaming lambs, but she says she still wakes up and hears them, but at the end of the film she doesnt. The title has meaning, you'd probably call it 'da cop who meets a canibal lyke'.

  • close to the end of the trailer u hear the screaming of the lambs

  • the killer is hot

  • i saw a lot of scary movies but the way hannibal lecter is played by hopkins is still the most scary perfomance ....

  • What's thumping???

  • A quién no le gustaría comerse a la Jodie Foster? :P~~

  • He never blinked once in all of the film!!!

  • 1:08 RIP Charles Napier who played Lt Boyle.

  • @SuperSlyTime

That was eye opening, and I didn't know that. Thank you :)

  • this trailer totally doesn't show how awesome the movie is...and if you actually watch the movie you find out how everything connects. it's all so perfect.

  • The title says lambs, the poster shows moth and the movie is about a psychotic killer. What are the connections? O.o

  • @mizzfreakster96 It might be too deep for you then. See the movie and if it's still not clear to you, then you might want to stick to Michael Bay films.

  • @mizzfreakster96 well the movie is called the ''the silence of the lambs" because earlier in her life clarice mentioned something about a lamb and how it wouldn't stop crying and how she wanted it to be silent, and then lector brought it up later in the movie....and the reason the poster has a moth on it is because clarice found moth pupa in the throats of buffalo bill's victims.

  • @mizzfreakster96 watch the film and you'll understand exactly the connections. Moth comes from 'Buffalo Bill' and the title comes from a conversation between Lecter and Clarice. The psychotic killer bit... well... XD don't have much to add on that one.

  • thumbs up if you saw this and totally think there could be a second one

  • @phoneboy1231

    There IS a second one.

    Called Hannible.

The third one, though not very relavent to the others, is Red Dragon.

  • @ReinaSaysRah

its a prequel to this witch shows lecter geting captured and it is also a remake of Manhunter

  • @movieartman

    Yuuuup.

I'm not very good with words, so I explained best I could haha.

  • hannibal lecter is my all time fav character!

  • one of my favorite movies

  • Not the BEST trailer ever but 1000000% the BEST movie I have EVER watched in my ENTIRE life :)

  • u have to watch the movie to kno wat the lambs are about...

  • Do you feel blame? Are you mad? Uh, do you feel like wolf kabob Roth vantage? Gefrannis booj pooch boo jujube; bear-ramage. Jigiji geeji geeja geeble Google. Begep flagaggle vaggle veditch-waggle bagga?

  • the woman sounds like scully off of x files

  • @BannanaMunkey you mean scully sounded like clarice ; )

  • its been 20 years, 20 years

  • wow my comment above has had like 50 people reply to it :O

  • @faatmaan01 130 actually, u should visit this page often just to see the progress ur comment is doing lol

  • 1:21 .... Gordon Ramsay.

  • "In sheepskin coats I silence the lamb, do you know who I am Clarice?" like this if Jay Z and Kanye brought you here :D

  • @LOVE808s no

  • I'm having 4 friends for dinner...

  • The movie's title is perfect, nowadays people want everything delivered in the simplest, brainless way possible. As if thinking was some sort of punishment. While we're are it, we should all call kandinsky's paintings "weird colored shapes" so we can avoid reflecting on them any further.

  • I cannot believe how quite a few of my friends will rank Jim Carrey as the greatest film star ever (he's okay at times, but not the greatest) and will give 'Megamind' 5 stars (despite them being older than 9), and have never seen, let alone heard of 'The Silence of The Lambs' or Anthony Hopkins. This is such a brilliant film, in plot, characters, acting and directing, and it still has some quite chilling scenes (even for nowadays horror/slasher films).

I really need to get some new friends...

  • @Blizzardfanboy Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. While I agree that under no circumstances should a film like "Megamind" get a 5/5, simply saying something like "Your opinion is wrong" doesn't change anything.

  • Fuck me, seen this movie couple of times, but still........goosebumps.

  • my 2nd favorite movie ♥

  • @MsCineast Which is your first? :O

  • @vfdandruk

    Platoon by Oliver Stone

  • nom nom nom how can someone just eat people like tht

  • never seen it... just got the dvd! excited!

  • Im gonna watch it, i get a taste to watch movie with animals :))

  • @MrBleach333 You know that there aren't really any animals,do you?

  • @MsCreator999 I know man... But there was a butterfly in her neck :P

  • MAN I WANT TO LEARN FROM ANTONY HOPKINS TO EAT PEOPLE

  • this is legit the scariest movie ive ever seen, way scarier than the exorcist not even kdding

  • Ahhh I remember this movie. It's soo suspenseful i love it :)

  • Wow same black guard every movie...nice!

  • My God it's hard to believe this was 20 years ago!!

  • @shreve99 lol i was like 3 when this film came

  • @megalolkiller LOL! Time flies...remember that!

  • @shreve99 yup it does :)

  • What i love about this movie is that its based on a suspenseful story, bot just on gore. And altho lector is a serial killer u almost want to respect him! Crazy but great movie!

  • Anthony Hopkins is the best of the best; I freaking love him!!

  • lol DRAMATIC CINEMA VOICE :D

  • hopkins is one of the best actors!!

  • I thought this would be about killing lambs or something....But it was an awsome movie ! totaly recomend it ! & hannibal lector is a grat character !

  • ....so this has nothing to do with lambs?

  • @faatmaan01 Not quite, but it bears some symbolic significance. You've probably seen the movie, and know about Clarice's background, and the "awful" creaming of the lambs from her past, which needed to be shut up.

  • @faatmaan01 No remember the story of her childhood where she could hear the lambs screaming? Also the killer in this film wears a lambs mask :)

  • @faatmaan01 You have to watch it to understand it, once you've actually watched the movie yo actually realise how clever the title is :)

  • @faatmaan01 It does. Clarice gets dreams about lambs screaming and Hannibal keeps asking if the lambs have fallen silent.

  • @BexPetz I think the lambs is part of a metaphor.

    Lambs to the slaughter, maybe?

Just my guess, never seen this but I've seen Dexter and psychopathy (the lack of emotions) can sometimes come with more than one thing (the urge for something, possibly).

  • @faatmaan01 actually, starling'straumatic childhood, which she is forced to share with hannibal lecter in order to obtain info on Buffalo bill, involves her on her parents farm attempting to save lambs from the slaughter house, and then failing. i agree it shouldn't actually be the title, but it does mean something to the main character, and furthers the plot

  • @faatmaan01 Yes it has. Watch the movie.

  • @faatmaan01 If You Watch The Movie You'll Get Why Its Called Silent Of The Lambs

  • @ceallycyrus she just could stop hearing the screaming of them :D
