44wave, that is some scary stuff. I am not surprised to here that Monsanto is big in Hawaii because I have heard that the crops there are doused with chemicals (I don't remember if atrazine is among them).

I live in Maui,Hawaii,I have an"auto-immune"disease. Many persons on my island,who were healthy,are cripples,racked with pain,prescribed Cortizone drugs by Searle,owned by Monsanto!My island is ground zero for Biopharms. Mansanto #1 economic power in Maui county,controls our state and county govenment. They've grow open field pharmacecuticals experiments in Kihei for 10 yr. Their water run-off exits at my canoe clubs beach. I didnot have an agenda,I just wanted to know what was/is killing me.

My uncle lives in HAwaii... I am so sorry I have heard the same too. :( This indistry is sick and they will surely reap what they sow...and when they do their not going to like their heavenly reward.
