I have never smoked a 'real' cigar, and this might seem silly, but I just plainly don't know. Do you fully inhale a cigar like a cigarette? Or do you just draw it and hold?
josh you seem like a cool dude man i mma subscribe to ya youtube page cause i myself am a newbie cigar smoker, i just started a few months ago looking into different styles. my fav so for is the romeo y julieta, acid line's all of them, an i wanna try the drew estates java 's now. thanks for this an i a think iam gonna be getting me one of those cheap humidors for fathers day from my wife so i will have a vid of that after. thanks bro
im in the market for a humidor. i dont have alot of cigars, but i would like to have a decent humidor to put a dozen or so smokes and keep them fresh. i see you got this one off amazon from an earlier comment, so i looked there. is it a good option? i mean, will it seal up decent, decent enough to hold a dozen Olivas or Fuentes?
Great reviews, love the channel man. thanks in advance.
@treesareourfriends01 The Cohibas that you can get from Thompson cigar are Dominican Republic made, not Cuban. You have to look for a third party importer to purchase Cubans from and really hope customs doesn't open it and find them. Because you can guarantee they will be smoking them and not actually "disposing" of them.
nice collection u got there...wat r u using for humidfication...i got a desktop humidor about the same size as yours and have been having problems the last cople months and just gave up...stuck my baby stockpile in a ziplock bag and some zikar beads...
@sprjcube That's a $20 amazon buy, says 25 cigars but you can fit 30 or so, how many are in there anyways? It's a good starter and lasted me until I got my huge one.
@WALTKRIEG It makes no difference if they have the stock wrapper on or off. However without the plastic wrap on it's more likely the cigar will mellow and age.
I over seasoned my humidor and my cigars got so humid they would almost not draw! what do I do? how do I get them to normal and how long should it take? I think the actual humidor is 70% now, but how long should I let the cigars rest? thank you so much for any help
@lobzdik As long as they aren't dripping there is a little bit of hope. What I would do is put them in an empty humidor, no humidification, and let them dry slow. That's the key, is slow, steady, drying. Drying a cigar too quick will make the wrapper burst, or even worse, explode when you light it up. I'll make a video on this in the future. Thanks for the comment!
@joshskorton make sure that humidor is seasoned first or the spanish cedar will absorb all the moisture rapidly. which is the opposite of what you said. but i agree. just take out the humidifier and close it up.
very cool looky-loo, J - just starting to get into cigars a bit - seeing what people are buying and how they're storing them is of interest to me at the moment - thanks for building & sharing, eh! MM

You do realize that keeping the cello on will prevent your sticks from receiving any humidity?
ejlnicolas 1 year ago
@ejlnicolas I don't think it will prevent them from receiving humidity ,BUT it will slow down the speed of receiving humidity.

a cigar in plastic will never take up humidity, that's the most unprofessional way to store a cigar

@zdeckich Wow, what a spelling fail...I agree, there are reviews I posted. The OWR was trash and the Honduran was passable.
