For those that don't know, Tim Noonan was a reporter with 891 ABC Adelaide up until earlier this year. He used to go to local events (like the Santos Tour Down Under) in SA, and the studio would then cross live to him throughout the day for short (five to ten minutes) updates. As you can imagine, he is significantly less creepy on the radio - he has quite a nice voice. He is also much funnier, although I think his humour is generally aimed towards older people.

At last local news that is worth watching. Reminds me of a great Japanese movie called A Weather Women (1996) in which the ambitious fill-in weather woman does everything possible to eclipse the regular one. The main difference here is that Tim does not need to wear skimpy clothes to get our attention, he has wit!

His delivery was much more natural and spontaneous on 891 Local ABC radio, come back Tim, all is forgiven!!! The Brittania roundabout appreciation society will never be the same.
