  • would that wire work for a parrot cage?. AWESOME CAGE

  • Styrofoam, wood paint, galvanized mesh = poison. especially for parrots cuz they chew n climb more. your talented tho. i wish you could do one with 1/4" (mouse-proof size) stainless steel mesh, ironed-in bee's wax sealed wood, n NO styrofoam. wish i could soon do this myself. i have canaries n cockatiels. last week w/in 3 days a mouse caught in the act injured one and killed another one of my canaries. i'm scramblin for new 'dorms'. regrettably tiels beaks dont fit 1/4" and 1/2" isnt mouseproof

  • i did not understand anything.. but i love your cage

  • Great job! I am going attempt to make two for my African Grey Parrot and Amazon. I hate their cages. I would rather them in a nice birdie "home" like this! I am truly inspired!

  • Thank you so much for this! I will be getting a sugar glider, and I didn't want to get a cage that is meant for one because they are WAY to much $. And by doing this, it will give them a lot of room to glide, and they will be really happy in their big home!! :D

  • It is a great cage. I wonder if you used post weld Galv or pre-weld. Pre-weld is toxic for the birds. Post weld you just have to scrub them 1 a week t 1 a month with like a vinegar rub to get the zinc build up off the bar.s

  • @tzarius78 Oh i would also say to make sure the wood you use is non toxic for the birds. Most Conifers ( pine trees) are not very good for them. A few fruit trees are bad to.

  • Wow!! Awesome!!

  • WOWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!! that is so amazing =/11111= if i need a cage im callin you.

  • did you really build this aviary ? if you did, great job but i think you had some help from a person of the male persuassion. . .. yes ? ! : ) either way . . . . FANTASTIC !!!!

  • Be careful using galvanized wire. Use galvanized 'after' weld wire. Those little globs are zinc which is very toxic. OK for rabbit/chicken enclosures but not safe for little beaks which could break it off & even swallow it.The cage looks great.I made cages almost the same way except put doors on the sides as not to obstruct view & make it to fit an area perfectly. Aren't birds great?!!

  • @11sweetdixie yes definately the wire should be thoroughly washed to get rid of any coating. I have added an extra attachment for a luxury bird bathing area and they also now have an outdoor section to sit outside the cage. They are great!

  • why wash the mesh??? its only a fence.

  • Very impressive cage you have built there. I'm gonna built one like that, but much bigger for my peach face love birds...Keep up with the great built, you inspired me a whole lot and I thank you for your great ideas..

  • @RyCom123 no problem! Would love to see yours when its built so please make a video when you do!

  • @AnnaJahan I got to confused , Haha .. ! (;

  • Super like, just awesome. Vey nice presentation. Really help full for ppl like me who want to have a home for there birds in there own desired size. ;)

  • very nice regards from ireland

  • where do you get those mesh panels

  • Wow, excellent, I love the way you did that. Youhave indeed inspired me, I want two, one for my finches and one for my budgies.

Beautiful job, love the drawer, ingenious,

    thank you

  • Did you design that your self as well as make it? If so that is pretty cool. The birds look happy in there too. Good nice little set up!!!

  • I love how you made your own.

I used to keep finches, budgies and canaries. i have a cat now.

  • @hennafied I have a cat too! He's a bit of a wimp though (thankfully) and never goes never the birds

  • @AnnaJahan i have three cats and three budgies who live peacefully...as well as a chicken, however she lives outside :-) i wish to increase the numbers of chickens and budgies, because the more the merrier (if you can care for them)!

  • I love how you made your own.

I used to keep finches, budgies and canaries. i have a cat now.

  • thank u so much!

  • i like your bird house:) it looks cool! what kind of wood did you use?

  • Look's good :)

  • You go, gurrrrll!! That was really nice. I like how you made the roof transparent to allow more light for the birds.

    Thank you for sharing!

  • wood stuff?

  • @cradleof11 yes sorry, not the most informative there I know but I don't know what to call it! It was a hard wood based backing to an old cupboard we used to have. Not exactly wood though, like a thinner stronger version of chipboard.

  • yes woman

  • Wow! You're a very talented woman! I came here after watching your Aqua golden mermaid eye makeup vid! Awesome... also.... I love your accent.

    "hi" from New Zealand :oD
