It breaks my heart that Beethoven was deaf. But just goes to show how great he was of a musician to still know and hear what he was composing in his head.
@abluesman100 studying with salieri was not a bad idea specially since Beethoven, Schubert and Liszt were among his pupils. Salieri may not have been a great composer but as a teacher he was truly outstanding. As he was patient, possessed an encyclopedic knowledge of music and spoke in a manner that was clear and understandable to his pupils.
ahahahahaha......thats an awkward hearing aid he got there..good thing is I live in this new era where the hearing aids are much more convenient and advanced.
I liked this movie and it made me laugh, i like to see the funny side of genious, that are actually human beings.

Its not ragtime. Its syncopated, doesnt mean its ragtime. Your thoughts can be syncopated--you can either be a dumbfuck a genius or mediocre.

Interesting development as the story slows a bit or a lot from its initial frenzied pace.
The lighting is good. Still not a compelling picture to pay to see. I like the high down angle shots. Very painterly and elegant.

All the words we use have been grown out of the words from the past.
As our cars are "grown" from the carriages with horses in the time Beethoven lived.
The word "cab" is in fact "cabin", only made shorter.
And a "cabin" well, a carriage was in fact a cabin, a cab.... People called it so in that time already....
