Do you think user safety or heat exposure could be increased if a fast burning liquid fuel could be used so that there's a stream of unlit fuel - possibly one to two feet in length depending on pressure like a vietnam flamethrower design? Admittedly this does eliminate some safety for indoor use and requires a much larger area to operate.
