yeah tariffs punish the consumer, listen for truth.

tariffs protect inefficient business and workers. The reason that tariffs protect american jobs is because its more profitable for a country to do business somewhere else and we punish them for trying to be efficient

Tariffs only shift the money around. We put a tariff on foreign steel to protect US steel workers and now our cars cost more and are less competitive. Now US auto workers are out of work. How do tariffs protect American jobs?
