This show is fake and I'm NOT watching it anymore...Screw "The Hills" and screw Spencer Pratt and Heidi "10 procedures in one day" Montag...I'm glad Lauren left the show because she's way too intelligent and beautiful to be a part of that charade.

I'm surprised at this...The Hills' producers must've been pissed with Lauren for revealing this to the public and on, of all places, The View...I'm not sure I want to watch The Hills again because a reality show is supposed to be about real people doing real things and they're the ones who are supposed to set the tone and rhythm of the show, not the producers...Now The Hills feels unreal and artificial to me.

@PerBingTheZ How was I to know that it was all scripted?...I'm not psychic...It's called a "reality show", and so I expected it to be real...I did enjoy the original Laguna Beach reality show though...That seemed real...If reality tv is unreal then I won't be watching anymore because it's a big waste of time...And, to answer your question, yes I do watch a lot tv and yes, "The Real World", at least in earlier shows, I believe were with real people doing real things...Not sure about current ones.

I remember this one...I watched it was like the parents pick replacement boyfriends for the girls...it was so acted/scripted whatever I couldn't believe it.

@nypad5 Reality shows are supposed to be just that, reality, not "scripted reality"...Reality tv has become such a popular phenomenon that reality isn't reality anymore, because everyone is competiting for ratings and, the bigger the fights, the more viewers a show gets, so situations are set up...I'm diappointed with "The Hills" and other "reality" shows that are scripted, because scripting a reality show is like passing off costume jewellery as the real thing...It's robbing the fan/viewer...
