Lovely room! Just FYI, I know a lot of guys who brush their teeth in the shower, not so many girls. Apparently it's a good thing because you're more likely to take your time brushing in the shower, but it seems kind of icky to me :)

lovely room Fleur. I live in an old cottage too and I love it. :) Hooray for cosy cottages. Do you have an open fire in the winter. I love having the fire going, especially at Christmas. I turn off the lights so the room is illuminated by the fairy lights on the Christmas tree, the fire and a few candles. Smells like pine and woodsmoke and it makes me feel so Christmassy and snug.

My husband has his own shampoo but he uses my conditioner. And he also has his own body wash, but sometimes he steals mine if his skin is a little too dry. He also steals my exfoliating stuff. I do think the toothbrush is wierd. I know sometimes my husband will bring his toothbrush and toothpaste into the shower but he always puts it back on the sink, when hes done.

Why some people keep toothbrushes in the shower: When one flushes the loo, it sprays microscopic E. coli bacteria everywhere, making the bathroom actually one of the filthiest places to store one's toothbrush. Most toothbrushes - even if kept in medicine cabinets - have E. coli contamination. Showers with physical blockers - like glass doors - may cut down on this.

...though I'm not sure if he thinks that deeply into it. ;) Great video! The logistics of cohabitation are mindboggling at times!

haha i think the toothbrush in the bathroom is fine, but maybe it should be mounted on the wall in the furthest corner away from the shower head. that way water/shampoo/etc aren't constantly splashing on the toothbrush. thanks for the room tour! :)
