my husband and I are actually planning to move to forks in about 3-4 years. I'm not moving there because of twilight, but because how beautiful and peaceful it is. I thought it would be a perfect place to raise our 2 year old daughter.
I'm a local artist from Forks. I designed and built the interior of the Dazzled by Twilight store. Been everywhere. This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. A lot of my videos show real life in our little town.
A lot of Twilight fans keep saying, "oh i wanna live in Forks, its so cool". Visiting Forks as a tourist and working for a living in Forks are 2 different things. Unless your born N raised in Forks, i don't think not 1 Twilight fan can actually live in Forks, WA, especially now where EVERYTHING is Twilight. If Anybody wanted to experience Forks like Bella Swan or Jacob Black, they would have to had visited before the the movie was even thought of, then again they wouldn't know about Forks LOL.

Theres a documentry out from the people who live there and they all seem very pleased with all of the twilight fans. They say that the twilight thing has pretty much saved their town. The entire town is mapped out just for fans to get a "real taste" of the books
Yeah, but you realize that they probably didn't let the people who hate Twilight talk on the documentary. I doubt they asked some chick, "what do you think of having edward-gooey strangers stalking around your town at all hours?" and would have aired her saying, "these assholes need to get a fucking life and go home." I really doubt that they would have put that in the movie, so it's not really an accurate account of the towns people, anyway. It's an incredably biased movie.
My husband and I were in forks around the same time last year. We had no idea how many tourists there would be...so we could not find a hotel room anywhere. We had a blast camping it up by the sol duc river lol. We heard different things from the people of forks some said that they liked the tourists because it brought more revenue into the city and others wished they would all go away. Either way. the beaches were BEAUTIFUL!!!

Twilight really put this little town on the map..I haven't been there since the saga began. But there's really nothing up there except for port angeles. All of washington is equally as beautiful as Forks.

My favourite movie is Back to the Future, I like all three movies in the series but I like the first one best. I think it's one of the funniest movies ever made and the performances of Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd are outstanding.

Theres a documentry out from the people who live there and they all seem very pleased with all of the twilight fans. They say that the twilight thing has pretty much saved their town. The entire town is mapped out just for fans to get a "real taste" of the books

Yeah, but you realize that they probably didn't let the people who hate Twilight talk on the documentary. I doubt they asked some chick, "what do you think of having edward-gooey strangers stalking around your town at all hours?" and would have aired her saying, "these assholes need to get a fucking life and go home." I really doubt that they would have put that in the movie, so it's not really an accurate account of the towns people, anyway. It's an incredably biased movie.

My husband and I were in forks around the same time last year. We had no idea how many tourists there would be...so we could not find a hotel room anywhere. We had a blast camping it up by the sol duc river lol. We heard different things from the people of forks some said that they liked the tourists because it brought more revenue into the city and others wished they would all go away. Either way. the beaches were BEAUTIFUL!!!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE. This is terrible. Sorry to all of you Twilight fans, but you have ruined everything that is good about living in Washington. I live bout 2 hours from the rain forest and used to go up there all the time to visit, but after this Twilight nonsense, I can't get there without people thinking I'm a tourist or thinking I'm into Twilight. Before Twilight I'm sure most of you couldn't even find Washington on the fucking map. This sickens me. STAY HOME.

my aunt and uncle live in forks, they say it annoys the shit out of them when teenagers come up with a camera asking: "do you know where the cullen house is?"

my town used to have a lot of trees like this but then more people moved in so they cut them all down and turend it into subdivisions i mean im not a tree hugger but it was soo beautiful and now its all gone im soo mad about that

Twilight really put this little town on the map..I haven't been there since the saga began. But there's really nothing up there except for port angeles. All of washington is equally as beautiful as Forks.

My dad used to take me fishing on the rivers in forks when i was little and I got sent out there to work a couple years ago but havent been there since the whole twilight phenomenon. Cant say i really want to either, it's wierd to see people willingly traveling from all over now just to see this armpit of a place. It was the same way with Aberdeen WA after Kurt Cobain. It's like big deal ive been there a million freakin times already.

I live in a town that 15 years ago the population was 500. now i think my graduating class was larger than that. the name forks isn't so odd. Where i come from there are places named after car parts. Eventually ppl came and tore down all the farmland. So now we have walmart and malls. I liked it better 15 years ago.

@surfergurl96 yes it does , ive lived in forks my whole life (im 14) and it used to be really fun being able to just walk down the street and have no one pay any attention to you what so ever , but now theres so many twilight fans i get attacked by people because ive lived here so long. ive even had people that were such big fans that thay asked me if ive ever seen a real life vampire , now really dont you think that a little extreem?
