I've tried tweeking the audio, but no matter what I do, the speakers still sound muffled, I have a Samsung TV and Time Warner Cable service any advice on how to improve the sound quality?
@MusicforMe123 Check to see if Dynamic Range Control, or Midnight Mode is on. Sometimes it is called Sound Leveling or something like that. That bugged me for YEARS with my Xbox and PS3 game systems until I recently figured it out. It is set to default, which is absolutely idiotic, if you ask me. Check the TV, audio system, your DVD player, everything, and click anything that I named above OFF.

Hey mike I noticed that you have the big ps3 but did you know that the new ps3 slim has more Hd audio formats than the big ps3. The ps3 that you have does not support DTS master audio and Dolby True hd audio it only supports old DTS 5.1 and Dolby Digital 5.1. And that sucks because most blueray movies now play in Dts master audio or Dolby True Hd and your ps3 cannot play movies in these audio formats it only plays them in old Dts and Dolby Digital 5.1 and the new ps3 slim is able to play them.

Like how it automatically detects my devices and also allowed my Toshiba TV remote to work directly with it for volume control. Perfect for small condo's, or situations where you can not truly set up a 5.1 system. Really like that it turns itself off, when you turn off the TV. Now I can enjoy my music DVDs and Blue Ray player.
