  • how do I redirect using loggedin template ?

  • @nosada I don't have VWD on this drive so i don't know off hand.

Try clicking on the login control than looking in the properties, see if there's a redirect property or something there.

  • @nosada

you need to configure that in the web.config

  • so where is the database

  • @AMZY0G Look in your solution explorer, there will be a APP_DATA folder.

If you don't see it there refresh it and it should appear.

  • Password length minimum: 7. Non-alphanumeric characters required: 1 wont work n i do it exactly

  • @jonathan867 put in something like adam@123 or adam@_123 as long as you have 1 non alphabetical and numerical character so it could be a symbol @#$% etc.

  • @networking26 thanks

  • @Arjun007ize Thanks for subbing, i've never touched C# so i don't know lol, it's always been VB for me from the beginning

  • Thank you.. those are my first babysteps in ASP.net... I followed the video and I made it. Now I would like to know how can I create a webpage asking for new users and register them to future log in...

  • @shade878 There's a control in the Login section on visual studio or visual web developer called CreateUserWizard.

Once you pop that on to your form your users can now register.

  • @networking26 OK I see... it's a form so I would have to put it on a new web form page with a bottom linking between them...am I correct ?

  • @networking26 Ok I see... It's a form so I would have to add a new item "web form" and a bottom linking these two pages...

  • @shade878 Yes, you can create a new web form and have the create user wizard on that page.

You can put a link on the Default.aspx page that links to the registration but make sure you put it in a LoginView control under the Anonymous template so only users who are not logged in will see the link

  • Remaining character count:

  • hey dear

how did you create the data connections

i did what you are showing and the asp conf was unable

  • hey man, i really need help:

I have a godaddy website and I need to upload a website I created from visual web developer. how do I?

  • You need to go through the documentation from your hosting account for a connection string.

The only thing i use godaddy for is to purchase my domains than get hosting elsewhere.

Once you get the connection string from your host you need to modify the connection string in the web.config file as i'm assuming you're using databases.

  • bro u help me ? plz

  • thank u

     very nice job bro
