Ghosts are, by and large, quite harmless echoes of people or, even animals such as dogs and cats, as they were in life. Most people are decent in life so, why should their spirits be anything other in death? My very first encounter with a ghost, was of a dog whimpering and scratching at the dining room of a friend's house. When I opened the door, there was nothing there. There is nothing at all to fear from the paranormal in most cases. Unless evil acts were known to be enacted by evil people.
I'm surprised he didn't notice anything. I was there in the evening recently and there's a strong presence in "Charlotte's room". I wouldn't say for certain it was her, but it feels like a woman, who's rather dismayed at the people tramping in and out. I think there's someone in the kitchen as well. I haven't seen anyone else mentioning these presences though. I did however see a man in the graveyard in a black coat, who was there and then melted away in front of me.

ur scared of ghosts, means ur scared of life, god tests you with hauntings and u should not be scared, just pray to god and meditate and hauntings will go away.
This guy is hilarious but I have visited here and I walked through the cemetery by myself in the Misty Rain. A most dramatic landsape. I also visited the the church where some of the Bontes are buried. I walked on the moor. I love this place. It suits by personality.
I am a big fan of Wathering Heights. I live in Australia near the Bronte sisters home they had here in Australia. It is a pretty little cottage by the sea.
Quelqu'un peut m'aider à traduire cette vidéo en francais , svp !! j' en ai besoin en urgence pour un exposé ! Merci d'avance

Interesting video and insight into the Bronte family home. I wonder if the house is open to the public and lets guests stay.

Unfortunately the house no longer has the atmosphere it used to have.
But Haworth rates much in my life. asa child we spent much time there but it has now all changed.

I feel the same way. I am easily scared of ghosts but find the whole theory of them fascinating.

As always fascinating! Love stories of this era and the Brontes. Thank you! As Alice said:
"...if I don't make haste, I shall have to go back through the looking-glass...back into the old room-and there'd be an end of all my adventures!"
Sending my 'curiouser & curiouser' thoughts through the looking-glass.
