i got a question...ok someone left my p2 outside and it rained!!! ok is it broken..i mean some when they are in water they charge it and it works again or something like that...but can that work with the p2??
Is it possible to skip the robot 4 rip step and start w/ dvd decrypter? I cant figure out how to get r4r to run. I cant figure out what you mean by setting up the paths and stuff.
The problem is that R4R rips the movie into a common format but with other files that allow gordian knot to continue the job. This issue your having is just poor installation on the programs part, it installs its own files but doesn't link to all the files properly. What you have to do is go into the option section and make sure that all the paths it has are actually targeting the files it is specifying. If it wants DVDXcopy.exe then make sure it is where the path leads... or change the path.
Yep... If it indicates that it wants to download it.. do it. All the codecs that it requires should download with that software. Not downloading them will likley result in sound with no video or video that has poor colouring or quality.
I followed the whole walkthrough so i could rip my DVD on that program, but it won't let me press Start... Could you just tell me if I did anything wrong or just forgot to do something si it would let me?

It gives you paths for vobsub, dvd2avi and chapterxtractor and so on, but for some reason they look right but are not correct. Just click the browse button on all the paths and manually click the file to set the correct path. You will likely find one that is wrong, and once you correct it you will be able to start the rip process.

I have downloaded all programs and configured r4r but won't save. R4r will load dvd but the start buttom won't highlight to use. I think I'm screwed. Need some help.
Sorry for the delay... I had troubles with this as well. My best advice is to confirm all of the settings provided by the link I provided. Also be sure that all of the program link defaults are accurate. DVDdecryptor, vstrip,DGindex, winrar & chaptorxtractor all have default locations set in r4r. I found when I installed it that a couple of them looked ok but when I checked they were wrong, I had to browse and click them to set the correct path. You may want to try a different DVD as well.
No problem, The online instructions are good but they missed the program path checks. If you get a chance let me know what it was that caused your issue. Thanks!
