My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Logwood in 1997. Since then we have been back twice to Creekwood, once to Oakwood, and once to Dogwood while our family was in Oakwood. The pool is great in the summertime and ski-ing in the Winter. This is a nice, cozy family place. WE LOVE IT and can't wait to go back.
It's hard to find a place more peaceful or relaxing than Cabin Logwood. My husband and I have stayed there a few times and we absolutely love it. The proprietors are also very nice and easy to work with. Seeing this video makes me want to run out and book another vacation there! It's a great escape from the "real world".
My wife & later our Children have been going to Cabin Creek wood for 25 years plus. Although I've moved from Virginia to Florida we can't wait to go back. To Stan & his family cabin's. We miss the serenity Bob& Lynn
We stayed there in June 2010. Nice cabins, 2 miles off the BRP, @ mile post 13. We did the Skyline drive, and stopped at Luray Caverns on our way back to the cabins. great cabin, and great hoast.
Just remember to bring videos, as there isn't any cable, or broadcast TV. NOT that you'd want to watch TV.... but it is handy to check the weather report

Very well done. Cabin Creekwood is one of our favorite vacation destinations and the Horsts are great hosts!
