I like to put it this way: If I have one lottery ticket, & I just happen to win 10 million dollars, that seems pretty amazing! But if 10 million people have lottery tickets, duh, someone was likely to win. I'm not special, just lucky. There are billions of stars, the fact that one of them happens to be orbited by a planet that has life isn't very miraculous. Granted, there are probably some other life forms out there, but it is apparent that most of the universe isn't capable of supporting them.
