here in canada we are getting worse and worse winters, how good are mustang gt's with normal winter tires in the winter? im looking into them and afraid of crashing such a beautiful car like this!
i dont get why people drive in the winter with summer performance tires, like how hard is it to understand that winter tires are esp made for winter and summer tires are basically made for summer conditions, so if you got your car set up for winter with weights and great winter tires you should be good
hey! nice car, finally someone who drives mustang in winter, one question, when u get in a part of the road without snow does the tires get damaged? i know that the asphalt can be damaged by studded tires in fact somewhere they're illegal but dont know how tires react, thx!
The newest revolution is the stud-less snow tires here. Many that own GT's used these studless snow tires the past years and found them spectacular in comparison. We're required to change-over to street tires mid-April each year. When roads clear of snow/ice prior to taking them off here in Alaska, yes, the tires studs wear quicker. The road handling's not affected when driving on dry roads while using studded tires, but you can skid/slide when driving unsafely.
Nice job. I hope I never have to worry about this in Tampa, Florida, but I would love to visit Alaska in the Summer time. I heard that it is beautiful up there.
crap man i thought you were gonna slide down the hill. my mustang got stuck yesterday to many times guess i need winter tires had some drag radials lol
i just bought a 2008 pony myself, just wondering what kind of tires do you have on it at the moment i wanna drive it this winter not sure what tires would be best ???

Go to your local tire dealer - they will recommend the proper tires WITH studs. Have a safe winter!
