@liuting16 Yea defiantly good question I did not really explain myself. In most states you need to be registered under your party three months prior to the primarie. So if you are registered as a democrat your vote will not count for Dr. Paul. Also please do not let the republican title scare you, Dr. Paul is a true libertarian. Also many generations of failed politicians ruined the title of both democrat and republican, they both stand for frredom and prosperity if you can believe that!

You should be picking your candidate (for ANY election) on a case-by-case basis. Educate yourselves with the relevant issues at the time, see how each person stands on those topics, and vote accordingly to your own beliefs. No one should ever favor or oppose a candidate simply due to what party they are for.

We need everyone that is currently registered with other parties to register as a Republican pretty soon, like before 2012 starts, so that they can affect the election. That should include some activist Democrats because there is no primary as of yet. Register Republican, vote in the election, then switch back to your preferred party from then on. We Libertarians do it all the time ;)
