  • love it:)

  • I remember this song from the phaze Waikiki in the 80's!!!!

  • It was on 120 minutes, I believe. I always heard it on late night radio or at the clubs.

  • did mtv aired this vid?

  • FUCK YOU "SME"!!! I HOPE YOU GREED MONGERS CHOKE AND DIE ON YOUR STINKY MONEY!!!

  • Jr5962@,et ué c'est déprimant moi et des amis on se remet des vieux clips comme celui ci sur le mur Facebook "the smiths,Ann Clark et plein d'autres bons groupes qui nous font dire que c'était mieux avant!!

  • in wich album came this song ?

  • Elle arrache cette chanson toute ma jeunesse....ptain 20 ans que je connais ca.....p^fffffffff

  • Hearing this amazing song again after all these years- i'm thinkin this was Trent Reznor's inspiration for "Sin" off Pretty Hate Machine (another great song)

  • 174 people had to pay ten times the normal price for the man.

  • MUSICAL ART, no doubt.

    catholic.com

  • Man, this brought back lots of X Memories...wow, the good ol Club Days!!! When the music was edgy, hot and fun..."Dead People" still live among us ;)..we just hide bahaha

  • Front242 was great....I hope there are more videos here....

  • This freaking song is awesome!!!

  • Still think this is the best video ever made.

  • I am so glad i wasnt alive in the 80s

  • @KylieShaye27 guess your still not so alive in the "10s"

  • Quando ouvi Cerol na Mão pela primeira vez lembrei na hora dessa música.

  • Isso sim é música !!! Anos 80 para sempre !!!

  • Wax Trax!

  • there no NIN but cool song :)

  • @danks1974 There'd have been no NIN without front 242. I suggest you look up Trent's old band "Exotic Birds" here on YT.

  • @Bacopa68

Not only that, but Trent admits to loving old-school industrial like this, Throbbing Gristle, etc... I personally like NIN, as well as Front 242. I think people who like "Real" industrial should also respect NIN, because "Real" industrial musicians clearly respect NIN (Foetus and Coil doing remixes for NIN, among other things)

  • @Heavymetalgamer28 Well said! There really should be no conflict between fans of classic industrial and later efforts like NIN and Gravity Kills.

Still gotta say "Headhunter" is the best. When I heard Osama had been shot I posted links to this several places.

  • @Bacopa68

Your right. Since "real" industrial musicians respect bands like NIN enough to collaborate with them, it proves that all this elitism is just stupid.

  • Fantastic!!!!!

  • 173 people couldn't find their head...

  • @JOHNMIRANDA70 caught in the net obviously

  • COOL!

  • Chicago, Limelight, China Club, Medusa's, WareHouse, Music Box, and THE SHELTER!

  • Bonde do tigrão gostou desse instrumental

  • Remember my days in Belgium, the epicenter of new styles and the birth place of New Beat & House Music, what a crazy days....!!! :)) The new generations of these days don't have any clue what an insane days we had back then....Happy to have been there! :))

  • @motormaniak - tell us more lol - how or why was it insane back then? lol

  • I love this song, they used to play it a lot at a club I used to go to in the early 90s. The song is still awesome.

  • BIEBER AND GERBER! SEEMS HE THREW UP ALL OVER THE FUCKING AUDIENCE!

  • @Blamberweiserschise, never forget that your people inveted what we idiotic Americans call french fries. Also I cant help but love this song for some strang reason.

  • Whatever the comments, Front 242 is Belgian, it makes us very proud for once.

Fucking country Belgians mainly not proud of, this was Gold years and myself was into the groove though not realizing the luck we had being at the edge of Europe and maybe the U.S.

Was not the only moment Belgium had an inventor, the Saxophone was too invented by a Belgian; Adolphe Sax and it had its way to American Jazz, yes a small country can have geniuses too.

  • @Blamberweiserscheise

who ever said you cldnt have amazing people from all parts of the world?? ill beat em up ;) lol cuz sum of the most ingenious ideas come from not the top but normal people everyday people!

  • Ah yes, THE song that got me into industrial many years ago. Front 242 is fucking classic.

  • you catch the man..very 'bodybeat' themeatically of course, but fair point, nitzer and co were very popular in the gay scene. lets face it have u ever been to a gayclub with shit music?? no, of course not- heres another example of how far ahead of the game some scenes were..many of you werent even born when this came out! let your body work! completely hetero eh. haha

  • no stop please, im choking already..did someone call this dubstep?? im too overcome with words to spit at you to be able to speak..this is called ebm (electro body music) its a relative of electro, but it predates both house and techno (excluding detroit and cybertron) for the most part. gotta love them afro-germanics to quote U.R...oh let me guess they never heard of em either? next youll tell me they never heard of the orb, orbital, the belleville three, acid house, aphex..which planet??

  • OHHHH MY GODDDDD....!!! GREAT....

  • Hey people, the dislike button is not the download button.

  • Still lover it, ffs its almost 24 years but it still works

  • putos amos!!

  • I used to think that they were saying spread the ned, catch the ned. lol

  • god this still sounds so good.....!!

  • Yeah !

  • legitimo industrial !!!

  • I saw these guys in concert in Seattle in 1992, it was epic. My ears rang for three days. This was important music and Headhunter is an epic masterpiece.

  • one of the best 80,s song , it doesn,t sound outdated in comparison to more commercial and mainstream electronic music,. a 5 star song

  • One of the best groups of the history of the music

  • One of Anton Corbijin's Best videos

  • MORTAL!!!!!!

    LETAL!!!!

    BRUTAL!!!!

  • A rough generalization: Front 242 is mechanical construction music to remind humans, torn against their revelation of violent automation, to feel. Dubstep is DJ ecomusic for raving bipolar acid hippies. Both have used the human scream to varying degrees of success.

  • @mattjostr dubstep is BORING And a dead genre.

  • Comment removed

  • Front242 were the beginnings of industrial along with Big Black.

  • oh lord this takes me back in time (alternative clubs, acid, Doc Marten raving boots, swinging head manically from side to side) - nice find!

  • Yes nice job,nice guys

  • I love Front 242...Nice job guys!

  • Exactly! Try to make some real music please? Nothing against dubstep, it's great at parties and all, but i know and see ALOT of guys walking on the street with those music from their cellphone and i'm like DUDE JOHNNY!!!

  • hard hitting drums.

  • so many pleasant teenage mems! man this brings me back! was so into this scene back then! glad i can access it all again so thanks, part o me heritage! ya! skinny puppy were my faves back then but front 242, severed heads ran a closre second! x

  • oh late 80's / Nineties dance clubs, industrial, NYC downtown clubs. You had to search this shit out. They didn't play it on the radio. Where has our edge gone? We need a revolution in music again. We're being brain destroyed by Britney Spears and the other make believe music out there...

    Somebody make it STOP!

  • @BoysLikeMeee seek and ye shall find, it's always out there (the good stuff) :)

  • @BoysLikeMeee they played this shit on TBS' NIGHT TRACKS AND USA NETWORK(NIGHT FLIGHT) ALL THE FUCKING TIME BACK THEN. WHERE WERE YOU?

Also on KROQ LOS ANGELES RADIO STATION AT 106.7 FM. to millions of listeners so yeah they played it quite a bit.

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork WOW!! night tracks/night flight!!! Real old school!! Very cool!!!

  • @tatteredprince I need to put up my Kroq tapes shows to youtube. They used to play this puppy just before love line came on.

  • @BoysLikeMeee WRONG, THEY PLAYED IT AT ALL OF THE CLUBS. Kroq in L.A. gave this song huge rotation.

  • @BoysLikeMeee This was played on WWLIR Radio in Long Island which they played a lot of New Wave music at that time also.

  • @BoysLikeMeee This was pop in Chicago they played it on the radio all the time. Mid to late eighties is when it all happened.

  • @BoysLikeMeee LOL! >;-)

  • how MaNy tImEs dId We wIgG T ThIs?!

  • how many times did we wigg to this?!...

  • Egg hunter!

  • Also I love the description; "this is the headhunter video". NO SHIT?

  • Oh hai 240p! Long time no see!

  • Je ne suis pas étonné... Des belges après tout... Comme moi...

VIVE LES FRITES ET LA BIERE!!!

  • Great song, but assinine video.

  • Renegade Soundwave is the Pioneer of DUB-and I agree w/ Below-it is NOT music per sa' as it was intended a drum machine w/ samples to some bassamophoric vibrations-it is 2 different things. dub then and dub -STEP- now.... is more dance....

  • Dub from mid 80/s or the new version -evolved dub????

  • who was not blown away by 242???

  • I watched the TV from Libya today, when they killed Ghadaffi. I am sure I heard "Four, you catch the man" in the background

  • @Nordligast '"Four, you catch the man" in the background'

    I heard it, too.

    This is a tanking tune.

  • I just found my Halloween costume.

  • And 4 you eat an egg.

  • Is this a video for a Belgian Easter egg hunt?

  • Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb were the mainstay bands in the later 80's alternative dance clubs. I remember them days very fondly! Black and Cure/new wave hair were a must.

  • @tdoesntmatter ----AAAHHHH THE GOOD OLE DAYS!!!!!

  • This might be the only music video I've seen that manages to be sinister, sexual, and silly all at the same time... and I can't get enough of it.

  • Funny

  • I wish I could like this song 1000 times! :)

  • This video looks like it was directed by Anton Corbijn. Can anyone verify?

  • @yammie75 You are correct!

  • @yammie75

    yes thats true

  • @yammie75 It was and the egg was featured coz Anton misunderstood the song's title, he thought it was called Egghunter. And Front 242 liked the idea... :-)

  • why does this song make me feel like i need to kick someones ass?

  • @1288dallas hahhahaa thanks for the laugh! I agree, it does :)

  • Everything is dubstep, quick everyone: Call every frickin song dubstep if it has even a slightly irregular beat.

  • @mdc0rqj GET OUT

    Dubstep is not music.

  • @dzedajusr there is some interesting dubstep out there: try something like kode9 or lebelgeelectrod

  • @mdc0rqj they should also do collab with skrillex, same as everyone else should

  • @mdc0rqj dubSTOP! sick of that mess!

  • @mdc0rqj lol, this was pre-pre-pre dubstep!

  • @fusion01wp Nao envergonhe a verdadeira musica eletroncia comparando esta musica com DubStep comercial de merda

    dubstep is shit.

  • @metubegirl69er Nope. First EBM.

  • You see,

    I'm looking for this man...

  • ONE M0:00RE TIME!!!!

  • nice song, i like this headhunter more though! Headhunter & Ekelon - Timewarp [HQ]

    Depends on your mood xD

  • The sound that starts at 0:09 (and ends at 0:16) always reminds me of the beginning to "Don't You Want Me Baby" by The Human League.

  • i like it ok...a bit like fad gadget

  • I remember a friend took me to this alternative club in Philly back in the 80's and it was a wild scene. The atmosphere was electric with all these hot pale chicks dancing around in black clothes, some just wearing bras and tight skirts and I was blown away by the music, especially this tune. Been a fan ever since.

  • @jakovasaur yeah like Gulfsailor2003 and i were talkin about club 6400...there was a huge tree 2 stories high in the center of the club and was completely covered in bra's and panties, the dj booth was inside the cab of a gutted cab of an18 wheeler. many of drunken nights in that place, it rocked houston!

  • Use to be my favorite song to dance to back in the late 80s. Full blast of nostalgia that was so incredible wonderful to experience. Wouldn't trade it for the world.

  • Wow, lol to see people just hearing this song for the 1st time. Well Junior.. welcome to one of the best dance songs form the 80's, don't worry, you were only a glint in mommy's eyes. ~~Dance on Houston - Club 6400,NRG,Xcess, Numbers, and all the things that made the Houston dance scene so great back then.~~

  • @gulfsailor2003 WOOT...6400 was the place to be. wish they rebuilt in same location and didnt move it, greatest club of all times. H-town baby!
