Then the earth was explored for hidden assets by space satellites. Then comes the space war in which USA is still unable to thrive in the first stage. China has done so much in so little time: The three gorges dam (the largest of any kind in the world, that has american engineers saying that there is no way the U.S. can build something like that in the near future), the Olympic Games, a socialist economy growing and growing military power...

The U.S. is canceling their Space Shuttle program -- they are in a redesigning process. Space technology is vital to our very existence. One day, our planet is going to be hit, it's only a question of when. Who has the technology and industrial capability to send men and women into space can survive. This may seem remote, but we are making the first steps to create the technology.
