I love Anime and so many awesome series's, like this game, it should be a series only without the rediculous block puzzles, with Bleach type battles. But hey, thats what i think.

just my guess but i think that Katherine is the one who cursed him and is the witch that some of the people talk about and Catherine is just a figment of the curse thats why his friends didnt see her when she appeared in public and only Katherine heard her moving around and my other idea is that the boss used to be cursed and he confronted his cheating problem with his wife and the curse ended for good... but thats just my theory
