I used to have this cartoon on VHS like 12 years ago but I dont remember was this just one movie or was it like a series of 30 min cartoons? If it was a series how many episodes were there.

I have a copy of one these guys' cartoons on VHS when it was recorded from the Disney Channel.

in fact, back in those early days, the Disney Channel would SHOW Fleischer Cartoons like this one.

Hunky and Spunky was nominated for the 1938 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. I can see why.

I like those 3-D backgrounds, the colors and the opening song. Other than that, this is a pretty forgettable cartoon, like many of the Color Classics.
