if anyone has a link to the rest of this vid id love to have it. i used to have it downloaded but lost it. he has a couple of even better drifts later on in the event against a racing produce speed's pink FD
lol. although you seem to be right, saving the car is part of controlling it, thus gives you points; only if you dont spin or leave the track all the way.
the other factor to be considered by judge when giving points is being spectacular.
he also had a great angle AND kept it on loose surface - makes it a brilliant drift. equals control.
yeah probably he is going to fast I personaly think to use the handbrake cause everytime I have seen someone use the handbrake to start their drift on this track they go off the road or spin out
that was a tight drift cause it looks like he was about to crash into that wall but the way that he controls it and if you look closely at the hood from the front angle shot you can see how it was all bumpy from going off of the track and stuff but he still held it with perfecting.
wicked wide angle drift - well done

he wasn't using the "dirt drop" to lose more grip and turn more.

The guy didnt even used handbrake, got a crazy angle and held it even in the dirt, his line was sick man, he pushed the limits further

yes not everyone uses the handbrake their are other techniques other then using the handbrake...
1993nissan240sx 3 years ago
i believe not using the handbrake can be more difficult, require a bit more skills and confidence/experience
