Dude, the movie is what inspired the musical and it is not a bad movie with Adam Sandler... I love this soundtrack and the movie. It was kind of Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore that first made Robbie and Julia.

They do not have a proposal at every show. The show ran for several months and had a total of 4 proposals. I myself worked as an usher at nearly every performance. Please do not post inaccurate information...
