Yes, Lea's talent got her on Broadway, but Diana's talent has gotten her on a popular television show as well as gained her a large fanbase. Many of which are here to listen to the song, not to read comments that are slamming one of their favorite singers. Their styles are different, the amount of vocal power is different - facts. Better, though? That's an opinion.

@Enuzzle That's a good point but I think that was the composers intent because the final lyrics are "When love comes so strong there is no right or wrong" meaning that Maria can't think properly because she's so in love with Tony.

I love this but Naya needed to sound angrier to portray Anita perfectly and have more anger and passion. I love that they made Maria's part lower because it sounds really annoying when its really high. Other than that Lea and Naya need to sing together more, they're two of the best singers on the show

I have been an avid fan of West Side Story since I first heard it (Leonard Bernstein is one of my composer man-lovers :3) and I have to say that this must be my favorite version of A Boy Like That/I Have A Love (minus the loud ending, which actually kind of pissed me off when I first heard it). Lea and Naya seriously need to do more duets! Their voices compliment each other perfectly!

Lea absolutely nailed this one. You can just hear the lovestruck, innocent yet naive youth in her voice and she performed it with such clarity and technique that the song's message was portrayed perfectly because of her voice. Naya also sang this great, but unfortunately, I didn't hear the emotion, the agony that was in the original. Still an excellent cover though.

The reason I love Naya's voice more in comparison to Lea's or Amber's is because she sounds great singing so many genres. Lea and Amber have amazing voices no doubt, but Lea doesn't sound particularly amazing singing musical songs or opera (obviously she nails Maria.) Amber can belt - spectacularly at that- but I couldn't picture her singing broadway. Naya has a really unique voice and sounds good singing most of the genre's we've heard her sing.

Mercedes is getting more of a spotlight now that she is in the Trouble Tones anyway, so I don't know why everyone is really complaining.

And in regards to Tina, she might switch over to the Trouble Tones, we don't know yet. Season 3 just started, there is nothing to get up in arms about yet.
