"It was the gravitational pull of 'Khilafat' that precipitated the rapid progress of Islam during its golden era. Once 'Khilafat' on the precept of Prophet hood ended the dominance of Islam soon began to fade"
@Cartoons4MuslimKids If you listen closely, the church bell is followed by the Adhaan (muslim call the prayer) and horns (Jewish call to prayer).
All reminiscent of the Golden era of Islam when across many nations all religions co-existed peacefully and all calls of prayer were heard of simultaneously
Mirza Ghulam Qadiyani was a great liar, he is definitely one among the 30 dajjals within the ummah about whom the Prophet Muhmmad(pbuh) warned about.
A man born in British India, calling himself to be both the Mahdi and the Messiah - and working for the British Crown - I pray that the followers of this Dajjal wake up soon.
@radamdeys ???????......??? what!? No idea what you're trying to say. If Islam-Ahmadiyyat was a man made farce.... it would have disappeared a long time ago. But the reality..... well you're aware of that. People are being guided by Allah himself to the truth in large numbers everyday.
@Khilafaklothing I have already commented on the bells, yes if they were by themselves then it would be out of context but placed with other calls to worship it is referring to the Golden of age of Islam where peace and harmony were prevalent; days that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is fighting to restore
So this age issue with Aisha is no issue. Mohammad was a WIDOWPHILE, he married widows. That was his thing. Not a pedophile. But no one talks about his obsession with widows....right? Because its not controversial enough.
Muslims dont need to conform to subjective socially relevant western morality which changes..ever evolving, depending on the mood of the society.
In Islam, there something called Baligh, look it up. It makes sure the physical & mental maturity of individual before marriage.
Great video, I recently have seen many about these things. Extremely well done! You now have a white American Athiest friend. Just want to show you some support and and encourage you in your truly good efforts.
Nice brief summary of the Islamic golden age, I read a bit about Ibn Battuta, the Arabian Marco polo. Do your next video on his life. Seem like this was just added in at the end without explanation, please if its important text their names on screen so easier to look up and memorize.
@architect333 I agree. I ended it very badly. for more information visit the link at the end of the video info, it's a small article I used to base this on. Will definitely do more reading on Battuta; don't think I did justice to him here.
Imagine how much more progress Persian cultures could have made if their scholars didn't waste time on religion and concentrated strictly on academia.
@colerichards6969 because of Islam Persian culture and language spread from the West to far East. In fact Persian culture and language had more dominance over the Muslim masses than Arabic had. This was in fact due to their strict study of theology. Most advancements in science and math etc. in the Muslim world were made by theologians. In short religion laid down the foundation for science. The decline occurred to internal political struggle from which no one truly recovered till this day.
@time0is0a0myth "religion laid down the foundation for science". I couldn't disagree more. Religion has consistently tried to stifle science, especially if it conflicts with scripture. Evolutionary biologists know this better than anyone.
@colerichards6969 Mate the Quran is the only scripture that gives evidence as a holy scripture of the Big Bang and the Earth being round, not just round but slightly oval as it actually is!!! Find me another scripture or religion that does the same.... Islam and Science as we know today go hand in hand with no conflicts.
What you are referring to is the ignorance of the Vatican (no offence) and the Church. Muslim, Jewish and Christian Scientists were heralded in Islam.... not burnt on the stake
@ServantsOfTruth No offence taken! The Vatican gets NO respect from me. I wil admit that I know less about Islam than Christianity, but what I do know is hard to reconcile with my conscience. For instance: How can you revere a man who had sex with a 9-year-old girl while in his 50's? Also, advocating death to infidels and death for apostasy is absolutely heinous. Period. No offense. Could you please refer me to the passages in the Quran that mention the Big Bang and shape of the Earth? Thanks.
@colerichards6969 All myths unfortunately... With Hadhrat Aisha they were married when she was 9 but the marriage was not consummated until she was 15 - 16 which was the norm at the time. It was customary for girls to be married at a young age as they helped around the house etc. Death to infidels and for apostasy again all myths; I know there are 'muslim' countries who do it but there is no place in Islam for it, it condemns these acts in the scriptures!!! Ref:BigBang Ch 21v31 alislam org/quran
@ServantsOfTruth You are the only Muslim who I have ever heard say this. Most will outrightedly admit that they were married when she was 6 and the marriage was consumated when she was 9. This is the problem with all religious scripture: it is all so ambiguous. Certainly not indicative of divine inspiration. They can all be interpreted however the reader wants. Emphasize the love OR the hatred, it is up to you.
@colerichards6969 Dude this isn't in the scriptures! Its been passed down in traditions! Tell me what sick pervert would do that to a 9 year old?!?! And me being a human being then believe in his teachings?!?! Nah dude, he was a mercy on mankind. I myself on first hearing this was lyk WTF! But on research found out what I told you earlier, in those times girls were married at a very young age to help out in the house etc. marriage's were consummated when they reached a young woman's age.
@ServantsOfTruth Sick pervert indeed. So what about Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol. 7 Book 62 Number 64 : "Narrated 'Aisha: that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death). " Many more passages like this occur in the hadiths.
@colerichards6969 Cos it's a confliction that is automatically dropped as there are many others that state otherwise. The topic of Ahadith is one of immense debate as these are narrations that were recorded many years after the Prophets death. Certain entire books are dropped due to their misquotes. A fact like that would be consistent in all books of narration; not just one.
@colerichards6969 If Mohammad married a 9 year old he also married a 62 year old. Out of his 13 wives the only virgin was Aisha. Out of those 13 the only one in that age rank was Aisha. What are you trying to say about his marriage to her that he was a pedophile? Pedophiles have profiles and exclusive attraction to minors. Mohammad first marriage was to a woman older than him. So were others. If that was his thing, he could have married 13 9 years old but he didnt. The marriage was political.
@colerichards6969 When Mohammad asked for Aisha marriage, her father didn't say "no way, she is young", instead he said..."but you are like my brother". The objection was over the social relations between the two men and not her age. Mohammad had martial relations with all 4 Caliphs. His marriages were political, that is the only context within the marriage makes sense. Not in some Western perverse theory. For that you need to establish an exclusive interest in minors from his side.
@colerichards6969 now if you are an atheist, tell me how do you feel about incest and polygamy? if two consenting adults want to indulge in incest, son and mother, father daughter, or brother sister, how is that wrong? Forget procreation. This is purely sexual. How is that wrong? You only consider it wrong because of the social dogma and taboo. The same way you view marriages in that age group, SOCIAL DOGMAS and TABOOS. Other cultures are not confined to your socially relevant morals.
@colerichards6969 lets take Japan for example. Age of consent is 13. In most years there is no age of consent. The Japanese have a "healthy" obsession with Manga, Hentai, Lolicon that depict minors in sexual acts. The nation is majority atheist. Over 70%. They sell school girls undies in vending machines. They have phone lines where old men chat up young girls. Now if you as an atheist go try to teach your Judo-Christo Post-Atheisim morality to those atheists they'll tell you to take a hike!
@time0is0a0myth Two wrongs don't make a right. And 13 is different from 9. Also, prefectural law usually supercedes federal law in Japan, raising the age up to 18. Furthermore, the topic at hand is the praise and reverence for a man who had sex with a child, not the attitude of some random country.
@colerichards6969 how different? what about 14 and 18? And prefectural laws differ from region to region where in most the age of consent is still below 18 and grown men continue to have "dates" with young girls. The man that you are talking about has done many things for which he is praised and revered, yet you choose to superimpose on just one action which doesnt go well with your socially relevant domatic believes when it comes to sex and "children". for an atheist you sound like clergyman.
@time0is0a0myth First of all, you used the word pedophile, not me. Secondly, many people have done deplorable things for this man such as suicide bombings and 9/11. Incest is wrong for biological reasons; it increases the chance of birth defects. And it rarely happens between two consentual adults. I have no issue with polygamy. A man does not have to have an exclusive interest in minors for this behavior to be disgusting. Honestly, I have no issue with the arranged marriage at 6, but sex at 9.
@colerichards6969 you didnt answer me..what do you think about incest and polygamy? you are an atheist i believe, i'd like to know how do you feel about sane, matured, aged, individuals practicing the two. lets see how much you are really influenced by your judo-christain dogmatic beliefs then you folks pretend not to be.
you say you are not religious but you are products of these religious societies. your sense of right and wrong has been defined by them. you are conditioned.
@ServantsOfTruth21:31 " And We have placed on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with them, and We placed therein broad highways for them to pass through, that they may be guided." HUH???
@colerichards6969 No! The one before it! I'm using translation by Maulvi Sher Ali. You can find it on alislam dot org. About the previous point of ambiguity in scriptures; its not the case. Tell me how would you immortalise one message for all ages to come? Rationality has changed so much in the past 100 years let alone 1400 years! Read the verse on the Big Bang and then tell me yourself where is the ambiguity. If you have any other verses from Quran or even Bible, let me know, I'll try help :)
@colerichards6969 I might as well cite it: 'Do not the disbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were a closed-up mass. We opened them out? And we made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?'
@colerichards6969 your comment is only relevant to judo Christian history. Look up akhwan al safa and know the roots of evolutionary theory are based in religion.
Really well shot. I think, in all respect, that the problem we see in Muslim societies is that the religion did not experience a reformation-type event and therefore didn't really adjust to modernity in the 1500s onwards.
@rjbonacolta It was not a reformation that was their downfall; in fact it was a deep study of the Quran, mixture into a multitude of various cultures and societies, dialogue & debate that enabled them to progress.
But as muslims left their faith behind, their thought and progress went with it.

I just looked again a book about the history of architecture, and they show the same water mill in Syria, I read a passage that translated says that the Greek and roman building technology moved towards the Byzantine empire to Islam.
Many 2000 year old Roman sewage and water transport systems using arcs are still operating today.
It's quite naive to paint the picture as if these things where INVENTED by Islam, contributions came from all over.
actually Byzantium had a large water supply kept underneath the city just in case but they did not invent arcs because the math had not been discovered yet. How would they create arcs without the math?
of course math is an old subject but the math had not progressed enough for them to create the same type of structures that the muslims were creating.
@desiboyh "of course math is an old subject but the math had not progressed enough for them to create the same type of structures that the muslims were creating."
Types of structures ?, you mean styles ?
But that is simple a subjective artistic choice.
I think you are getting a bit confused.
Arcs where nearly the only method for creating roofs for over 3000 years, even the egyptians used them 3000 years ago.
@saintpine Rightly pointed. This documentary never states that muslims invented everything stated. It was the emphasis the founder of Islam laid on travel with the intention of seeking knowledge that enabled muslims to uncover a wealth of knowledge already present in various parts of the world. This enabled muslims to develop existing ideas to such an extent they became extremely useful to society whereas before they were in a very primitive state and available to only a few people
A ancient ship was found in the seas near Italy containing medical tools, equipment and glass flasks of medicine that historians erroneaously thought was invented by arabs hundreds of years later, check wiki "Medicine in ancient Rome" for details.
The first public hospital was founded by thr Romans in 293 BC in the Island of Tiberina.
@saintpine The Tulun hospital from the 9th century was not just a hospital but also a university of medicine. All physicians were examined by inspectors to maksure they were of the highest quality. The hospitals were designed not only to heal the sick but acted as asylums, shelters and provided free care for anyone - The idea of caring for everyone who needs aid does come from Islam. But you my be right that the initial idea may have come from the Romans; muslims developed many existing ideas.
@Klingschor Nope. I just Produced it, He's an up & coming broadcast Journalist. Remember this was just me messing about not putting my full attention to it. I love a topic to be explored from all sides as it gives a bigger and clearer picture. But judging from your videos; if you are aiming for something that lays false accusations on Islam; I will put all my thought and effort into defending it with a Docu. I belong to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, we're nothing like no Dawah project etc.
@Klingschor And same to you mate. All criticism welcome! Discussions & Debate's are my kinda thing. Best of luck with your project. I'll be working on a few different things in the next few months.
"It was the gravitational pull of 'Khilafat' that precipitated the rapid progress of Islam during its golden era. Once 'Khilafat' on the precept of Prophet hood ended the dominance of Islam soon began to fade"

@ServantsOfTruth
Thank you.
Are you the one narrating this video?
Klingschor 7 months ago
@Klingschor Nope. I just Produced it, He's an up & coming broadcast Journalist. Remember this was just me messing about not putting my full attention to it. I love a topic to be explored from all sides as it gives a bigger and clearer picture. But judging from your videos; if you are aiming for something that lays false accusations on Islam; I will put all my thought and effort into defending it with a Docu. I belong to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, we're nothing like no Dawah project etc.
