  • No it is not a new car.... it is not a new bike Either ;-) it is a bike that I built from the frame up, please read about it under the video clip.

  • 新車?

  • if you look at the most resent of my clips you can see that I have now had all the chrome work triple coated, and it has just won for it`s fifth time this this year for best Kawasaki in show, best classic in show, and again best classic in show, and at the Copdock bike show in Ipswich on the 2nd of October it won twice for best Foreign Bike in show, and fist in class, so I am well pleased with that, can`t wait for the next show...... if I could have got it to the Stafford Show I would have

  • Wow. That is an amazing bike. Great job.

  • when I got the seat it was on it already on it, but now I fitted a new seat cover that is the same as the orginal, oh I still have that seat cover that is in the picture ;-)

  • hey where do you purchase the seat?

  • なんて綺麗なKHなんだろう! 素晴らしい。

  • @skyclear777 ( Translation ) It will be what beautiful KH!I am splendid.

    Many thanks for your comment.

  • きれいに磨いてますな

  • @1960xiaobaobei Thanks Mate but not ( Don't polish it neatly ) will make it like a rat bike, and that is not what I want ;-)

  • OMG !! You Kwaker is so achingly beautiful, I could hang it on my wall and stare at it for ages lol (soz... I just like it a lot! ) Well, done mate, I recon those perfect chrome pipes would soon discolour after a good blast.

  • @cashman156 Thanks for the great comments, Well I can tell you that even after sitting on at least 80 + some times the ton + ;-) the pipes looks just the same as when I fitted them nearly 4 years ago now and she has done 2,955 miles and getting better all the time and giving me even more smiles ;-)

  • that is like awesome, cheers pal.

  • Nice bike, this is more than just a bike, this is art, amazing!!

  • that is stunning mate, i see youve got A.R.E wheels on it too, i have 2 pairs myself,

  • @retroglam73 Thanks Mate, still people have said that the A.R.E. wheels are not Std original wheels but I have been told that they were an optional extra offered by UK dealerships back in about 1977.

  • Freaking awesome mate! Being a two stroke-aholic I'm jealous! Sad but true story, my brother (fellow idiot) and I bought a 77 KH for $50.00 from a auto dealer, typical barn deal. It was in rough shape but complete. After tearing it down, we found that the rods were toast, and assumed the bike was a total because of a lack of parts. Well, we deep sixed it off a dock in WA state to dispose of it.

  • @577lightnitro Thanks for the comment, well what were you thinking of doing that. I paid 99 pence for the frame and half an engine (that's about 50 cents or so in your money) I had to source all the rest of the parts over about 8 months and who knows how many hours but it was well worth it as you can see. I don`t Know if you can get hold of a magazine it`s call The Classic bike magazine and may bike was in there Sept 2008 issue and got a five page spread and I was well chuffed with that ;-)

  • @searay51 The stupidity goes deeper, I was 20 (25 years ago) when I bought the KH, hence the lack of brains, but I also bought a 77 RD400 with 1500 miles on it in near new condition for $350.00, and sold it six months later to pay for tuition. And again some thing on a 85 RZ350....... I have since learned this lesson for the last time. :)

  • You did a very nice job. I would love to get my Yam RD400 up to same quality. Well done.

  • @yamagammad1

Thanks Mate well I would love to see when its done please so post some pic`s on here when you have and thaks for your comments on mine,

Oh! I have a RD400 back in 1977 Nice bikes

  • @yamagammad1 Yes I Learned that back in 1986 when I re-ferbed a 1979 Triumph Bonneville 750 T140-D and I had to sell it due to redundancy. I now have one of the same but better as it has a one off works crank in it along with a lot of other goodies..... and I am not going to sell that one, I might put a vid on sometime of it ;-)

  • Built it from what, new parts ?.

  • @yamagammad1

No Just made all that I did get as good as new ;-)

  • that bike looks straight outta the shipping crate

  • I had three of these as a kid. I bought all three from a farmer in Sacramento for $100 !!!

  • I wish you could buy three now for that... more like £****

  • brand new, amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What an absolutely gorgeous looking bike. Well done you on making such a fine job of this. Absolutely beautiful!!!

  • Absolutely "Stunning!" Well done fella,what a beaut!! Want,want,want..............

  • Beautiful KH !

  • Superb looking bike, real nice :=)

  • Has the right foor peg had the weld break from kick starting it?

  • No the right hand foot rest is fine thanks as I don`t have to kick the hell out of it to start it and it rides Like it Looks.... Thanks for Looking

  • I just bought one and it starts easy, but the weld on that footpeg is cracking. I was just wonering if these bikes had that problem--Your bike is a gem !

  • Thanks Very much for the comment and no they don`t Normally suffer from that problem at all, I have been out on her today with the sun out and up on 8.000 revs in top gear need I say anymore ;-))

  • What a wonderful example of the genre. I am SO jealous!

  • Stunning bike mate !! Prefer wire wheels but still awesome !!

  • that looks brand new. did u get the engine from kawasaki it self ?.

  • I bulit the engine from the Crankshaft up Myself including all the polishing with a lot of elbow Grease,

  • Very cool, would like to have heard it running. nv

  • Hi thanks for the comment if you check out my other Vid clips you will hear it running Cheers, Mo

  • nice restoration, well done

  • very nice

  • That'd have to be a brand spanker surely? 175 odd miles and looks like it was just wheeled out of the showroom...Unless an inspired recondition job and new clocks?

  • Thanks for the comments, Yes I built it from the frame up it was in the September 2008 issue of classic bike magazine and I did also do a restore of the clocks too so it is like a new bike, check out my other vid clips of it, Cheers, Mo
