the main reason i want this card is for pod casting, the idea is to run the audio out from this card, i have a "real" sound card for audio in. and use the usb port for a hub. will this cause any issued?
also its worth the $80 because i have a spare pci express but i dont want to deal with reconfiguring all my cables i zip tied them all after i got the usb hub
Lol that is a laugh comeing from you. Learn go back to school and how to spell stupid punkass prick. Now STFU and GTFO. You can't do shit if coakisit want to post the same question on multiple videos, stop using Google translator.
unfortunately no it requires a cat 5. this is because a physical connection will help redirect the network to npu whereas a wireless is a thereoredical beam versus a physical connection. i'm sure if you hunt around you could find a wireless npu card
i know thats a long winded answer but i figure it will help any future knowledge seeker
Right back at you, donniedarko88888. Stick your head where the sun don't you flammer. If anyone here is the stupid one, it you. Grow up, you mother fucking Bitch.
@MrZdude19 what did i say ...and if i said it i sayd it 1 months ago.no need for you to reply on comments posted 1 months ago. i just wanted to say that the guy is boring because he was given his anwers on three other videos with the same topic.
all it does is takes 1 last task away from your CPU & RAM because it has it own CPU and RAM. People with low or middle end computers are going to see the difference with this card, as for high end like me your not going to see much but you will see less stress on your CPU and RAM. so all in all is it worth the $100 yes. A name brand (Netgear, D_link....) Net card with 10/100/1000 LAN cost about $50 so as for Tap and Rip good luck.
The port on the card goes to your sound card in order to offload VoIP solutions like skype, teamspeak, ventrilo est. Yes this means the card has the ability to completely offload voice chat... The pass threw cable (A.K.A the chord that no one knows what it is) that comes with the card plugs into the sound card or on board sound to offload the work. The jack does the same thing just in case your motherboard or sound card does not support the pass threw cable. ::Sigh:: pple...
WOW The killer xeno pro? You really need that thing? I would love to have that but i already have a very fast internet connection so i dunno if it would make it better with an NPU in my system...still a very nice gadget to have...
I think my Dual gigabit lan on my mobo is about the same plus i think you should get a Creative X-fi sound card that you will notice a big difference in games and sound.
I really enjoy my Killer so I hope you like yours as well. Unfortunately if you plan to program for it you cannot run as root when in the shell. :/ That's probably my only drawback.
It really depends. I've seen up to 8ms improvements in shooters (which it is really made for since they use UDP) but others have found much more dramatic ping reduction in MMO's like Warcraft. I'm probably seeing dramatic improvement due to my hardware not being that great. Once I get another video card and can game i'll try and upload some comparisons with the lagmeter running.
it has been shown that it does improve framerates and decreases latency. also, it has a usb port, so u can download files directly to a usb device without even touching ur ram or processor, so u will not even notice it while gaming
I don't know yet as I've not built my computer. I should be ready to build it in some time in September 2009, if not a little earlier. Don't worry I'll let you know what the outcome is, good or bad.

is this thing worth the money?
BLooDYxVids 2 years ago 2
It's not worth the MSRP by any stretch of the imagination.
I would buy this card if it had a retail price of around $50.00 but no more than that.

I saw one ending at $60 on ebay, thats the most i'll ever pay for one now, a year from now maybe $30 bucks.

another think is since this card is new a lot of gamers are moving to dual band routing so the next card that comes out should have dual lan
