the main reason i want this card is for pod casting, the idea is to run the audio out from this card, i have a "real" sound card for audio in. and use the usb port for a hub. will this cause any issued?

also its worth the $80 because i have a spare pci express but i dont want to deal with reconfiguring all my cables i zip tied them all after i got the usb hub

unfortunately no it requires a cat 5. this is because a physical connection will help redirect the network to npu whereas a wireless is a thereoredical beam versus a physical connection. i'm sure if you hunt around you could find a wireless npu card

all it does is takes 1 last task away from your CPU & RAM because it has it own CPU and RAM. People with low or middle end computers are going to see the difference with this card, as for high end like me your not going to see much but you will see less stress on your CPU and RAM. so all in all is it worth the $100 yes. A name brand (Netgear, D_link....) Net card with 10/100/1000 LAN cost about $50 so as for Tap and Rip good luck.

The port on the card goes to your sound card in order to offload VoIP solutions like skype, teamspeak, ventrilo est. Yes this means the card has the ability to completely offload voice chat... The pass threw cable (A.K.A the chord that no one knows what it is) that comes with the card plugs into the sound card or on board sound to offload the work. The jack does the same thing just in case your motherboard or sound card does not support the pass threw cable. ::Sigh:: pple...

I think my Dual gigabit lan on my mobo is about the same plus i think you should get a Creative X-fi sound card that you will notice a big difference in games and sound.

I really enjoy my Killer so I hope you like yours as well. Unfortunately if you plan to program for it you cannot run as root when in the shell. :/ That's probably my only drawback.

It really depends. I've seen up to 8ms improvements in shooters (which it is really made for since they use UDP) but others have found much more dramatic ping reduction in MMO's like Warcraft. I'm probably seeing dramatic improvement due to my hardware not being that great. Once I get another video card and can game i'll try and upload some comparisons with the lagmeter running.

it has been shown that it does improve framerates and decreases latency. also, it has a usb port, so u can download files directly to a usb device without even touching ur ram or processor, so u will not even notice it while gaming
