I liked what Susan said when she found out her Grandfather had taken the place of the Hogfather: "And while he's gone, you've taken over? That's sick!"
Has anyone actually put the whole thing on Youtube? Because I can only find clips and I want to watch it. By the way, I also think they should to a City Watch film, they're my favourites, too.
I totally agree about Guards! Guards! - it would make a kickass film! - it was the Watch novels that finally sold me on Pratchett...but that said, I'll be reading Hogfather now, so that I know what I'm looking at when I watch the movie!
They need to do a 'Guards! Guards!', which I'm right in the middle of reading now and lovin' it sofar. Also its sequel 'Men at Arms', which I intend to read shortly.
Let's hope "The Colour of Magic" turns out okay, then perhaps they will. I would love to see a film with the AM City Watch, and I guess "Guards, Guards" is the place to start. Although it's not my favourite.

The following question i ask seriously
Why does american TV feel the need to make everything so "wham bam!" and dramatic?
maskedracoon2 3 years ago 3
no one knows..
because they can't stand the fact that the british made a better film than then.. :) just joking

I loved it. Can't wait for "Colour of Magic". But Hogfather isn't perfect. It has its issues, but if you're into Pratchett: don't miss this!
