There are no certanties when it comes to life and music is no exception. Since we are creatures of habit, we favor versions that we heard first and one is correct in saying you can't reproduce an original, no one can. Hence, any version that is not original will be percieved as substandard because it is not the one we are comfortable with hearing. @breffnipark No - The band split up and this band was formed by the 2 guitarists ian and eric mcreadie. The drummer was ians son and the singer was also his daughter in law. They made money out of it, but a poor imitation of the original
