  • you spelled CAROL wrong

  • Tim facial expressions are hilarious. Really funnyyyyyyyyyyy. Love it. Always enjoyed this kind of humor. Comedy these days is so different.

  • this was hysterical!!!

    shows today are boring!!!

do depth, no imagination, no class.

we have to go back to these old shows if we want to laugh. thanks for posting this!

  • TOO FUNNY!!!

  • There has never been a funnier show either before or after the Carol Burnett Show.

  • oh carol. I would run away with you. I'm aware that you're ageing but that doesn't matter. we'll just attatch wheels to your oxygen tank and head in the downward direction of a large hill and we'l be too quick for them to judge us. They don't make comedy like this now. Gold!

  • POOR TIM .... hahaha

  • 11 ppl didn't had anybody to light up their life....

  • so fucking funny

  • @TheOriginalTalbot I agree the shows now a days just don't have the heart the Carol Burnett and Friends show did! Carol and Tim and the cast were comedy geniuses in my opinion!

  • @littletimes I'm extremely glad!

Ya see not all comedy needs to be dirty or rude or profane it can just be straight up funny! I miss this show it was the best!

  • Aren't we glad we got to experience this type of comedy?

  • pure comedy!!!

  • I have this clip on my Carol Burnett reunion DVD!! This show was before my time too. Thank goodness for great fans to upload bits like this!!

  • LOL !!!!!! :D

  • I could watch this over and over and over again and still get a kick outta it :)

  • CLASSIC

  • GET CAROL AND TIM ON SNL!

  • Much of this show predates my existence but I have seen the bits and reruns, and everyone who comments how pallid modern comedy seems compared to this, is absolutely correct. Today "brilliance" is the label given to shows like "The Office" and "The Simpsons". That is pathetic. Burnett and company were exponentially superior. Truly, something has been lost.

  • @TheOriginalTalbot You hit it dead on. Couldn't agree more.

  • PURE comedy @ its BEST

  • @eboyd925 it's the other way around.

  • @eboyd925 --- nope. Conway is shorter. And in the tub.

  • I'll tell you what - someone could have killed my puppy, but these clips would still make me laugh!

Absolutely priceless! I'm so glad youtube is around for just that reason.

  • My wife + I seen Tim +the late great Harvey K in Vancouver, they were great. Carol B. Show was awesome.

  • PRICELESS!!!

  • she cant stop laughing and neither can i

  • my laugh could kill me its so hilarious oh carol you light up my life!!

  • man i think ill faint laughing

  • Impecable timing. <3

  • look at his face!!!!!! lol!!!!!

  • good times

  • Pure gold classic. Does anyone have the one where Tim is the goofy old man operating a hot dog cart and Harvey K. is his frustrated customer? One of the funniest things I ever saw.

  • if you happen to find it... pleeeeaaase let me know!

    *g*

  • I enjoyed Carol Burnett so much as a kid, I think I was around 11 or 12 years old and I believe it came on Saturday nights, but I would be right there in front of the tv, laughing my ass off at her...she, Harvy, Vikki, Tim and all her guest where hilarious.

  • Tim Conway's expression is so funny!! They truly don't make them like they used to. Classic!

  • definately a classic! who could ever replace her and her fantastic show? I can't think of anybody!

  • There will never be another show like this again, the Carol Burnett Show was one of kind! :-)

  • LOL! love the good ol days =)

    thanks for posting this

  • Does anyone have the skit where Tim and Harvey were news anchors and Tim got a whistle in his nose? I remember it but can't find it. Harvey lost all composure. Then Tim started laughing with the nose whistle still there! Then Harvey fell on the floor laughing!

  • TV will never be like that again!!! Truly gut busting live TV!!!! My all time favorite show!

  • this is what happens what you get two people with this much talent under one roof. i miss this show.

  • Omg his FACE at 0:17 ROTFLOL

  • look at tims face!!

  • Even Carol Burnett version of this song is better than Debbie Boone.

  • BKWILEY.... LOL... Ain't that the truth!!

  • I love them so much. It's so rare to find the kind of chemistry they all had together. I so wish there could be more of these. I remember so fondly all of these as I was a little girl who is now 37. I realize now the true meaning of comedy.

  • lolz. wat the hell?!

  • Oh man! I've played this 7 times and I can't stop crying from laughing so hard!!!!! Genius! Try to find a show like that today. This was my all time fave as a kid!

  • i AM a kid, and it is my favorite show!!!!!

  • OMG CLASSIC GENIUS COMEDY

  • I laughed tears when Carol couln´t help but laugh with the audience... LOLOLOLOLOL

  • Do you think it's Tim Conway's goal in life to destroy his castmates??

  • Yes! And I loved it!

  • Two comic geniuses. What a great show, they dont make tv shows like this anymore and its an utter shame.

  • I agree 100%. Most of these shows today are garbage.

  • i two agree! Now there are just reality shows that are soooo dumb!!!! it is riduious!!!!

  • it ain't reality tv if its scripted

  • true dat brother!!!!!

  • I saw another skit where Carol and Tin were those character from the 11th season where they sing in the bed, "You can't turn me off..." So were these characters a regular skit in the 11th season?

  • i don't know. however, the "you can't tun me off" sketch was posted on youtube recently, if u wanted 2 check that out. :-)

  • ROTFLMAO!! That was so crazy funny!!

  • With that beautiful song Carol was singing by Debbie Boone of "You light up my life", this episode from The Carol Burnett Show had to be 1977 because I distinctly remember that "You light up my life" was the number one song on the pop charts in 1977. They also said that it was the number one song from the whole decade of the 1970's.

  • We should send the thousands of comments written about this show to todays writers and ask the question, Now do you understand why your ratings are down. Get new writers and bring back real entertainers.

Thank you for posting all of this joy:)

  • Best idea i have heard?!

On all of these videos it would make a million comments.

This show is a classic and will be rememberd FOREVER, im freaking in love with the show.

  • Haha, he's almost got an Andy Kaufmann style of expression on his face

  • You Light Up My Life!

  • heh. i love how she is cracking up :D

  • TV was real then because the people were real.

  • I find it so hard not to laugh at this stuff it's been so long since I've seen these shows. It was good clean comedy at it's best.

  • funny.... like the shows we have today. Pfffft.

  • what a show!

  • man way to funny

  • tim conway is sooooooooo funny!

  • FUNNY! FUNNY! FUNNY!

  • HA HA HA I love Tim Conway. You could come home one day and feel soooooo bad and have not smiled all day, But if you see this your laughing your head off.Love this video : )

  • LOVE THEM BOTH!

  • I always wonder how Tim Conway can keep a straight face while he singledhandley makes his castmates dissolve into helpless laughter.

  • He is the king of the deadpan. Well, okay, him and Buster Keaton.

  • As "The Dentist" skit with he and Harvey Corman exposed - I think that he really did inject his face with novacaine!

So many greats in that era and the ones they built on:Don Knotts Andy Griffith Foster Brooks Red Foxx Johnathan Winters Peter Sellers Groucho, Harpo and Chico Marx Richard Pryor Woody Allen Jerry Lewis Dean Martin Robin Williams Bob Hope W.C. Fields Steve Martin Gene Wilder John Belushi Dudley Moore Danny Kaye Walter Matthau Jack Lemmon Dangerfield Lucy Mel Brooks Red Skeleton

  • @Bremen25 Tim Conway is infamous for getting people he shares the stage with to crack up while he keeps a straight face. Supposedly, Carol Burnett said there is a point when you can sense that he's going to stray from the script, in front of the audience and with cameras rolling, and there's nothing you can do to stop him. All you can do is roll along and see where Tim will take you, and quite often it's funnier than the original material.

  • @LoadSprayer Actually, Tim Conway has been married twice and has 6 children, so I have no idea where you're getting your "information".

  • Classic

  • this video just made my day!!! that was friggin' hilarious!!!

  • I always adored watching Carol Burnett reruns. Nobody else could make me laugh so hard! : D

  • i just love her improv and she was the ultimate miss hannigan in annie. shame hollywood are letting their standards slip now, I mean come, paris hilton in a starring role?!

  • i agree!! TV can't compare to when it had these great actors, actresses on Sat. nights!!

  • Funny stuff! Its too bad that there no are TV shows like this anymore!

  • didn't they used to have such fun!! it makes me laugh so much

  • I loved Carol's expressions during the whole thing. And still singing while she is laughing is amazing.

  • I like how she drops the sponge. Carol Burnett at 00:25 is her cracking up while singing, It's also my favorite part

  • CLASSIC

  • I need a time machine, so I can go back and marry Carol Burnett. *Muah*

  • HAHAHA!

  • This is something that's still funny, no matter how many times you've seen it. Notice how Carol can barely keep it together as she gasps out "with song".

  • Each time I see this I still laugh.

  • vicki lawrence was the best at keeping a straight face. I've seen this one before on a highlight show or something like that - she wasn't supposed to get into the tub.

  • One of the funniest videos I've seen, I miss that weekly show, thanks You Tube, for the memories.

  • The whole clip is HILARIOUS - and of course, you don't know how much was scripted and how much was accident - but check out Tim's expression at the very end of the skit - JUST PRICELESS, him shaking his head!

  • This is hilarious!! Carol Burnett is great...and pretty much the best female comedian ever! :) I love it when they can't keep a straight face and start laughing!

  • man way to funny

  • I love both Lucy and Carol Burnett. However, if I had to go on pure talent I would have to go with Carol. Look at the range she has with all of her charachters. Lucille Ball was good at playing Lucy, and I never really saw her do much else (besides dramatic B movies). They are both funny gals though with hilarious shows. Long live both!

P.S. I agree, I don't know how they could have all kept a strait face with each other (especially Tim).

  • When you are dealing with the best script writers and the most talented ensemble what else could compare? Who could keep a straight face working with Tim Conway!

  • nobody, not even Tim.

  • Amen! Keep the DVDs and clips coming. It brings back so many memories.

  • i think she is funnier than lucy ever was....just my opinion b4 all u lucy lovers get ur balls in an uproar

  • i agree 100%, much funnier and far more talented!!

  • well i didnt wanna say anything but its common knowledge that lucy was a bitch to her co-workers.....as u can see by these clips carol & her crew got on pretty well

  • @bette1908 - Lucy would agree with you and said as much many times... Carol is a complete talent... not only can she do it all, she does it all well. Even more admirable is with all her success, she still answers her mail and treats people with warmth and friendliness...

  • hahahahahahaahah

  • oh man.. if they tried to make shows as classic as this nowadays, it'd bomb. totally. this is a classic and will always be a classic.

  • Sad, but true. But it would bomb because TV producers were braver back then. Everybody is afraid of offending people now. Plus, everybody is so jaded these days, nobody actually pays attention to what's going on. Here, the humor is so simple, some would say it's "dated." No, it's just really funny.

  • More! More! These outtakes are great.

  • I'm mad she dropped the soap in the tub! :) LMAO! And then gets in the tub with him?? That's comedy.

  • I love these old clips. Mr tudball and mrs wiggins are very funny

  • This an absolute riot! They don't make TV shows like this anymore.

  • You got that right!

  • rofl!
