  • This movie was disturbing.

  • I wouldnt dare to interview this man

  • one of my favorite movies...

  • "Interview is over, friend-o."

  • The ultimate badass

  • wtf he didnt have this accent in the movie

  • @freereg29 yea he did.

  • Trolololo.... now I get it why he didn't talked much in a movie :D

P.s.: He looks like a big Fernando Alonso...

  • the interviewer was murdered after this...he picked heads and it came up tails.

  • He still terrifies me when I watch this

  • just call it

  • That was the creepiest bad guy I've ever seen. Great role. Evil, heartless, insane, killer.

  • When Joel Coen and Ethan Coen approached Javier Bardem about playing Chigurh, he said "I don't drive, I speak bad English, and I hate violence." The Coens responded, "That's why we called you."

  • Comment removed

  • Apparently, he's going to be Roland Deschain in the Dark Tower remake.

  • Call it,friendo.

  • he was creepy, but a f*cking good actor!

  • That is a creepy motherfucker...

  • person:I'm gonna need you to step out of the car sir

    Javier:what for?

    person:hey, your Javier Bardem!

    Javier:yes, I am.

person:I'm still gonna need you to step out of the car

Javier:Okay, but why did you pull me ove-*FFP*

  • he played his role berry well

  • he played his role very well

  • Such a cutie... he'sgonna be great in the "The Dark Tower"

  • @manganzoncineymusica waaiiiit...he's gonna be in The Dark Tower series?? If you have any details, could you tell me?

  • You don't have to do this.

  • this guys role pissed me really off! i was hoping someone to pop out of the blue, and bitch slap the fuck out of his stupid questions!

  • @Nudelsalatbomber obviously you didn't put any thought into his genius "stupid" questions and creepy (amazing) acting

  • @unrealityproduction, thats right. i didn´t waste ANY time! this movie was annyoing, and his weird acting made me kinda angry. real psychos do NOT behave like portrayed in the movie! hollywood should keep things REAL!

  • @Nudelsalatbomber Uhhh wow! Haha, I'm pretty sure you have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to psychos, especially actual psychopaths. To put it short and blatantly, there is no CORRECT way to portray them along a set of rules. Psychopaths are people who literally don't have the part of the mind called a conscience. That's the only rule about them. Some are more professional than others, some are a little more on the wacko side. This guy was a badass too

  • @unrealityproduction, your are wrong! the only thing i don´t know about, is the english language. but i´m A LOT into psychopaths and sociopaths.therefore i do know how they work, but my problemis, that my english sucks. and yes, he was a bad ass, but a very annoying one.

  • @Nudelsalatbomber I'm also extremely into psychopathology. I'm not gonna argue about the "annoying" aspect because that's your opinion, but at least explain what's so "off" about his portrayal of a psychopath? He wasn't exactly a psychopath either, because at the end you could tell he didn't want to kill the girl.

  • @unrealityproduction The thing is as youre no doubt aware, the distinction being that it is classed as a 'personality disorder' and not psychosis or bad but not mad. However, it is clear that there are degrees of the extent of say anti-social PD or Sociopathy, which would determine what someone is like or capable of, but at the extreme end, one's behaviour must overlap with psychosis really ; one can pigeonhole these things only up to a point.

  • @Nudelsalatbomber I give you a Troll rating of 5/10, 6 if you manage to fool anyone else here.

  • @Zmister517, fooling about what?

  • After the interview: where does he work?

  • Ledger: He laughs at you then shoots you

Javier: He shoots you then walks away. Job done

  • Javier was scary as fuck in No Country for Old Men..Then I saw him in that Julia Roberts movie "Eat,love & Pray". as a divorce father who loves his son. There was that one scene from that movie that was tocuhing when he was saying goodbye to his son.

  • @prt61370 i went to c "love in the time of cholera" just cuz of bardem. he was also in some other movies but i'm just waiting for his next psycho role. it'll b brilliant.

  • Real men kill wearing socks

  • Best cinematic villians (Despite the fact that many of them have originated in novels) Bardem in No Country for Old Men Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight Christain Bale in American Psycho Robert Mitchum in The Night of the Hunter Anthony Hopkins in The Silence of The Lambs Ted Levine in The Silence of The Lambs Kevin Spacey in Se7en Anthony Perkins in Psycho Robert Englund in A nightmare on elm street My personal picks. I'll probably remember a few more five minutes after I post this
  • I wish he flipped a coin & asked the guy to call it.

  • The thing about this is.... there are really people like this living and walking amoungst us daily. they are cold and good at what they do. That s why i always have a gun on me. You never know who is sitting next to you at the red light Look over at him.... study him and when his head starts to trun toward you...... look away! Quick! pretend that he is not there and hope that the light changes to green sooner than later. Stay thirsty my friends.Stay thirsty.

  • the best psycho killer I've ever seen

  • @Dutchy1965 yeah, better than nicholson? or bale in american psycho? ~.~

  • @mRcellFizH YES - thats what 'best' means !

  • After the interview:

Bardem: "What's the most you've ever lost on a coin toss?"

    Interviewer: "Sir?..."

  • @bovicejjackson hahahahahahah, funny but u never know....hahahahah just imagine if that really happened.

  • @bovicejjackson then he goes "just pick one"

  • @bovicejjackson That kind of joke takes little to no effort to create, and yet, I laughed my bloody arse off. Thanks man :)

  • @bovicejjackson Legendary comment

  • would make a great bond villain

  • Anton is the shit

  • Call it

  • chigurh

  • Chiguar

  • He's sexy.

  • "You need to call it. I can't call it for you. It wouldn't be fair."

  • did he do a movie about a girl get captived by religion people? i can recall his face but not the movie

  • Interviewer: What's it like to kinda get this accolade of people just really focusing on your character and the performance?

Bardem: What business is that of yours... friendo

  • @AHafan1

    HAHAHAHA

    That would be fuckin funny!

No Country is perfect, so is the end

  • This is a great film but Javier your head is the size of the moon like wtf narrow shoulders and a head big enough to eclipse the sun haha lol!!

  • Where does he work

  • lol he got so into his character, or he played it so well that even in this interview i can imagine him saying "call it" Like this interview is part of the movie lol.

    Lmfao!

  • @Eedgit well what ever floats your boat,:P. penelope? dont tell me hes with penelope cruz?!!im not gay but i would prefer her ha.

  • @beautyandnobeast He floats my boat alright, but you can have Penelope if she tickles yer fancy doll. Just feed her a three course meal, whilst getting her drunk at the same time. A pint Guinness should just about do the trick.....Lololol

  • This dude has the most creepiest epic voice ever!!

  • He and the joker are total bad asses

  • most intimidating acting so far....

  • Bravissimo attore.

  • RESPECT FOR BRADEM, he has done some GREAT FUCKING MOVIES like "LIVE FLESH" , in spanish " CARNE TREMULA" from director Pedro Almodóvar( fantastic director ) and " The Sea Inside" from Alejandro Amenàbar" wich had a big recognition. Great touching movies, pure magic.

  • @PortugueseLithium99 BARDEM *

Bardem: 'It depends. Do you see me?...'

  • @dalin794 You don't know what you're talking about. I said you don't know what you're talking about.

  • @methodandmadness why ? he is really a bad guy or what ?

  • @dalin794 It was a joke. I was quoting the movie.

  • @methodandmadness almost forgot that part :)) you're right

  • There was a guy at my job that looked just like him in the movie, he even wore cowboy boots. Every time he walked by everyone got quiet lol..

  • Call it, Friend-o

  • He has an amazing ability to fake the American accent. I definitely loved the movie, but haven't seen it in years. Time to rewatch it.

  • WD Penelope Cruz, he's a big teddy bear.

  • What a creepy character he started with on the big screen and now look at him = )

  • Amazing performance!

  • Man, hes up there with Ledger as one of the top villians

  • @lughmanibacha ledger was in a movie where he was a fag, good riddence fag lover

  • @yammer123 Fuck you

  • @yammer123 And Christain Bale was in a movie where he portrayed Batman, does that make him BATMAN? NO! get my point? Ledger was a great actor.

  • @lughmanibacha no true straight man would play the role as a gay man, fuck your fag lover, good riddence hes dead maybe it was a sign from god that fags are doomed to hell. just like due to the fact they are more likely to have aids than straight men.

  • @yammer123 Okay.. You get happy when people die, thats pretty sick.

  • @lughmanibacha i personally prefer fag defenders to die over fags, FAGS DONT HAVE A CHOICE THERE DEFENDERS DO LOL!!

  • @yammer123 wow dawg. Ledger wasnt gay. You are really stupid.

  • @lughmanibacha hes a fag lover, eat shit and die obama supporter

  • @lughmanibacha anyone playing in a movie acting as a fag is without doubt someone who wont tlak shit on fags. so thus he is a fag lover just like you

  • @yammer123 dawg whats with you and saying "fag lover" gayest shit I have ever heard.

  • @lughmanibacha k fag lover take you and your liberal bull shit and shove it up your ass

  • @yammer123 HAHA there's no point in argument with you.

  • @lughmanibacha you have some serious denial issues fag lover

  • @lughmanibacha My top 12 villain rankings: 1. Hannibal Lecter 2. Darth Vader 3. Anton Chigurh 4. Jack Torrence 5. The Joker (Ledger's) 6. Michael Corleone 7. The Alien 8. Nurse Ratched 9. The Terminator 10. Kevin the Cannibal (Sin City) 11. Hal 2000 12. Norman Bates
  • @Slave2Reason Oh I forgot #3. should be that sadistic Nazi from Schindler's List--Amon Goth!!!!

    So top 13!

  • @Slave2Reason dope list

  • @lughmanibacha Ironically Ledger was going to play the role of Llewelyn Moss in this film

  • @lughmanibacha

    Oh, he's above and beyond.

  • @Niekpas no hes not

  • @lughmanibacha ledger was fucking overrated as hell

  • @jackstein104 No. No. No. No. He wasn't overrated. He simply played in a larger film that attracted more publicity for it's famous characters. The Joker and Batman. You can say Batman and The Joker are overrated. Or even just The Joker is overrated, but not Heath's performance. It wasn't. This guy was slightly underrated, but I'm telling you Ledger wasn't overrated.

  • @ProRanting batman and the joker is a famous comic rivalry that's been going on since the 40s or so. there's nothing wrong with that. the fact is that nobody gave two shits about heath ledger until he died, then everybody thought he was a genius, and of course he had to get the oscar and its all one big happy-sad situation. there's about a million and one other talented actors out there that can act insane and lick there lips a lot...

  • @jackstein104 Ledger was more in your face and less suddle then Bardem's Anton, but that's what The Joker is. Not only are the two so different it's trivial to compare them, but Ledger was in a script with a more complex plot and with a more complex inter twinning of villians. To be fair Heath's Joker would have taken advantage of Anton-like psycho's to promote his own political agenda. He did it with Harvey with his brillant manical ploy. Harvey who also flips a coin. Just to be fair to Ledger.

  • @ProRanting ya ok... i agree the CHARACTERS are different but that still doesn't his performance was that great

  • @ProRanting two wonderful actors, two brilliant/perfect/incomparable roles. their characters were miles apart in pyschosis yet they "made" their respective movies. i.e. they stole the show.

  • @lughmanibacha except he's a million times scarier

  • @lughmanibacha Hell yea!

  • @thekingofmoney2000 mexicans speak spanish too u dumb prick.. i was talking about his language not his ethnicity. lmao dont get me wrong, i love English people.. i think everyone should own an English person to keep around the house and suck our cocks ;)

  • At first i thought Brad Garret was playing Anton in the movie /faceplant

  • Whenever I see him I think "man this is the guy who gets to see more of Penelope Cruz than I ever will".

  • Wow i wonder how he suppressed his accent so well in No country for old men

  • I would be feeling REALLY squirmish if I were that interviewer.

  • his voice's DEEP lol

  • oh my god, I was just waiting for him to pull his weapon out and shoot the interviewer lol he's such a great actor!

  • This guy is definitely a killer in real life lol

  • he looks like an indian actor...

  • omg just watched the movie and i can't believe i didn't watch it earlier lol javier was scary as shit

  • Javier Bardem is from the Canary Islands off the coast of West Africa, which belong to Spain. So Javier is Spanish, he is not Mexican! Spaniards are Europeans, Mexicans are of mixed blood and are a mix of native and spanish blood. Spaniards vary in looks, some look like northern europeans and some look like Javier, a typical Mediterranean look.

  • @thekingofmoney2000 A lot of Mexicans are from Spanish decent. . .If you don't like it go to the past, and stop the conquistadors. Language is in a constant state of flux. It always changes so the Spanish you are speaking now is not the same as it was in the past. Using your logic your Spanish is a bastard language too of Latin. Therefor it should not be credible. English people ,and Spanish people understand other accents just fine. You guys are just crybaby bitches.

  • @KamZ94

Yeah because the guy he plays in the movie...is a character.

  • he is very good at an american accent, although, he does slip and beaner-up the

accent with a few words in the movie, which confused me on his nationality in the movie...

  • @TheKidWithNoVideos "beaner"? He's not Mexican, he's from Spain, which is in Southern Europe you uneducated American. Plus American accents are crap, you have bastardized the English language, the only people that speak English well are from England!

  • @thekingofmoney2000

you're yelling at someone for generalizing yet here you are doing the same thing, great logic.

  • I had no idea this guy was Spanish. GREAT actor.

  • Its amazing he has the ability to speak unbroken English. My question is why he doesn't use that ability when he speaks English in real life???

  • @6Ott7 I heard that he practiced really hard to try and get an American accent and to speak really good english, but only for the lines in the movie.

  • ok, glad to see him out of character, now i wont be scared of him anymore haha.

  • @kmcgill794 Odd. I had exactly the opposite reaction. I'll always be afraid of him.

  • @kmcgill794 Odd. I had exactly the opposite reaction. I'll always be afraid of him.

  • Im lookin for llewelyn moss

  • Insane good actor in the movie No country for old men!

    Perfect!

  • man javier bardem is der bester schauspieler ever unglaublich auch wie charakterstark sein gesicht ist

  • Why don't we see him in more big movies....he's got the talent for it.

  • Great actor!!!

  • *tosses a coin* "call it Stevie"....

  • Beware of his BOLT GUN!! haha... the interviewer is lucky not to be killed

  • at the end of the interview he pulls a coin out of his pocket...

  • good actor
