I see what you mean but even if it is a huge file to download it would still be considered downloadable content. I don't like the fact that RE5 creators would nag about that being a huge file for DLC. After all I download movies off the PS Network and it takes alittle while but its worth it.

They're also making a Resident Evil 5 - Director's Cut... The name's not official, but they're making a mode where you can play as Chris and Jill in their mission to assassinate Marcus in the mansion!

I believe they also have new costumes! What's really neat about this version of RE5, is that everything is motino sensored! You get to play with this wand thingy... (kinda like the wii!)

However, the site also reports that producer Jun Takeuchi, in a chat with Japanese publication Famitsu, "would not rule out being able to play the new episode between the two versions [original and re-release]."

During Sony's Press Conference at Tokyo Game Show 2009, Capcom announced that a Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition would be released in Japan in Spring 2010 for PlayStation 3. The new version will use the PlayStation Motion Controller. It will include a new scenario titled Lost in Nightmares where protagonists Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine infiltrate the Spencer Estate in 2006.
