I was lucky to see Ari in middleton she moved me so much she will be sadly missed by her family im sure but also by her fans .ITS a pity so many people didnt hear her or understand her . huh. she knew she was ill--she said my time is limited and i know i'm catching the last train. I saw the slits a few times--it was as much about the party as it was about the music. she was wildly funny and didn't see any separation betw herself and the ppl there to see them play. i admire someone who can live their life exactly how they want without caring much about what other ppl think.

As far as I can remember her voice was always hoarse and she spoke with a Jamaican accent being a fellow Jamaican myself this would have been around the late 70's early eighties if i'm right . The last time I saw her she had these lovely twin rasta boys and she was living close to Battersea Park. Ari was a beautiful spirit may she rest in peace. Bless MP

R.I.E.P Ari - I first met Ari when I was still attending secondary school and Ari and her mother moved to the road I use to live on in Battersea, London. They were both always accomodating I use to admire her mum driving around in some kind of Caddilac at the time I thought what a long car it didn't really fit in with the others lol. One Love MP

I remember when i was younger and Ari aka medusa was in my aunts house and she passed me and i wanted to touch her hair and i did and she got mad at me lol i know why now.... a queen never lets you touch her crown.

@jamierourketen Hi Jamie, Ari did not take drugs at all, that is her natural demeanour. She has the accent as she moved to Jamaica around 1982, so had been living there 35+ years when this was shot.
