dude, cuz i use this for the music of a cover im doing???????????????????????? i fell in love with this!! as soon as i saw the 'elctric mandolin' part i was like 'pfft ur kidding right?' then i was like 'WOOOOOOOOOOOAHHH!!!' ^^
nice job man, its nice to see creativity with different instruments other then the guitar( no offence to the guitar) lol mandolin is an instrument when played well with other instruments it can sounds amazin, anyways good job again, try lookin up "MG twins dust in the wind cover" its an instrument my bro and i did for ppl who like that song,
it's called looping you knob jockey, he plays something and records it then has it loop over and over so he can effectively play several parts at once...
love it! i love my mandolin, but sometimes, it just lacks that oomph, you know what I mean? do you know a good, relatively cheap electric mandolin i could get? i'm talking $150-300?
I'm no expert. But the instrument you're looking at was under 200. This is just an acoustic-electric. The other one I know of in that pricerange is the "mandobird", which is a solid body electric. Keep in mind that some of the legit solid body electrics are going to have 4 strings instead of 8, which is cool for bending and stuff but hinders some more traditional sounds. Acoustic electric doesnt make you commit so much.
@kikomiko1 the one I have is actually pretty nice to play acoustic/electric its made by Johnson (Savanna now i think), and I paid 120$ canadian for it brand new
sorry if this sounds creepy but this video is the reason why my friend and i built a mandolin for our physics project. we played this song for our presentation. no joke.
Not creepy at all. Thank you so much. Feel free to spread the word of the mandolin! And btw I have lots of other videos to check out... you know... in case you take a science class next year ;)
To be honest, I just got what was in my price range. I'm not too knowledgeable, but yea this epiphone i got for under 200 and the intonation is pretty good and i like the sound. Definitely a step up from any storebrand type stuff.
It really doesn't. I'm self taught on the instrument and just figured the song out by ear. Anyone can do it. And btw i do sing on some other songs... just not this lol. Definitely not this.
can you please do a cover of a jack johnson song
