  • @CjUchiha001 Thanks! ANd sure knock urself out! :) Glad you enjoyed.

  • @bbrizzy89 thanks ^^

  • instrumental***

  • nice job man, its nice to see creativity with different instruments other then the guitar( no offence to the guitar) lol mandolin is an instrument when played well with other instruments it can sounds amazin, anyways good job again, try lookin up "MG twins dust in the wind cover" its an instrument my bro and i did for ppl who like that song,

  • very good job man that's fun !

  • I liked it!!

  • Just curious but did you figure the whole song out by ear just from listening to the original?

If so, this is even more impressive!

  • I'd love the tabs... please post

  • Awesome. I need the tab, sir!

  • it's called looping you knob jockey, he plays something and records it then has it loop over and over so he can effectively play several parts at once...

  • lol!

Its called looping. you can record yourself, and it plays over and over again.

  • its called a loop peddle or you can just tell by the sound it was recorded seperate.

  • he has a digital loop box you retard!!

  • mo ho vivi nella casa di polly pocket ho sei alto 3metri....well. you're 3metres or you live in polly pocket's doll house...

  • Better than the original! :P

  • Is that a richwood mandoline you're playing?

  • yea i agree with CrkdBluShds u need to do something with a wah wah pedal in it

  • I like this song so much more on the mandolin and without the lyrics. Nicely done.

  • love it! i love my mandolin, but sometimes, it just lacks that oomph, you know what I mean? do you know a good, relatively cheap electric mandolin i could get? i'm talking $150-300?

  • I'm no expert. But the instrument you're looking at was under 200. This is just an acoustic-electric. The other one I know of in that pricerange is the "mandobird", which is a solid body electric. Keep in mind that some of the legit solid body electrics are going to have 4 strings instead of 8, which is cool for bending and stuff but hinders some more traditional sounds. Acoustic electric doesnt make you commit so much.

  • man, thank you so much for the quick response! i'll be definitely getting one in the future.

  • Love it, giving out advice to his viewers. Not many video posters do that! FTW! WOOO

  • @bbrizzy89 and good job man thats amazing i might hafta figure it out myself

  • @kikomiko1 the one I have is actually pretty nice to play acoustic/electric its made by Johnson (Savanna now i think), and I paid 120$ canadian for it brand new

  • @kikomiko1 im very happy with my fender. it was about 400 dollars but a very good instrument.

  • @kikomiko1 you can get a shadow transducer pickup and install it comparatively easy

  • Quite impressive XD, excellent indeed ^^

  • عود كهربائي ؟؟؟؟ its a guitar not an ud

  • i thought her name was Katy? lol whatever this was tight

  • Dobry jesteś ;))

  • That's pretty damn good one

  • WOw! great !

  • how long have you been playing? you're pretty damn good brother

  • Thanks so much! I've been playing almost 4 years now.

  • wowowowowow ! your really good....

by the way, you dont know how to play the charango? :)

  • lol Mandolin shredding. To Katy Perry non-the-less. Just great!

  • sorry if this sounds creepy but this video is the reason why my friend and i built a mandolin for our physics project. we played this song for our presentation. no joke.

    yeah you are awesome basically.

  • Not creepy at all. Thank you so much. Feel free to spread the word of the mandolin! And btw I have lots of other videos to check out... you know... in case you take a science class next year ;)

  • i want a mandolin. is epiphone they way to go?

  • To be honest, I just got what was in my price range. I'm not too knowledgeable, but yea this epiphone i got for under 200 and the intonation is pretty good and i like the sound. Definitely a step up from any storebrand type stuff.

  • thanks!

  • Get a Godin.

  • I like the distortion... I wonder what a wah pedal would do to a mandolin...

  • SEARCH::::kate perry (deivi cover)

  • that's great! any chance on mandolin tab of the melody and chords you are playing?

  • search (kate perry (deivi cover)

  • my friends will FREAK when they see this!!! its too awsome

    -faints-

  • Wow! that requires a lot of training right?! Good job, try to sing ^^

  • It really doesn't. I'm self taught on the instrument and just figured the song out by ear. Anyone can do it. And btw i do sing on some other songs... just not this lol. Definitely not this.

  • haha i would've loved to hear you sing on this ^_^

  • Fantastic playing love the sound
