  • How can anyone even use a netbook? Seriously, the hardware is just bad, just bad. My parents have one, and they constantly complain about it being slow compared to my laptop. Even my old laptop (which I use a DVR now) runs better than a netbook and it's 6 years old now. My issue with netbooks is there is just not enough ram to run Windows. It barely works. It should be illegal to to sell machines that just can't run even Windows 7 starter properly. I just can't defend netbooks.

  • LOL. Mac fanboys are crazy. You complain about how slow Safari is and they get extremely defensive - probably because they love their product so much that they are willing to lie. The sad part is that they don't know what they are talking about most of the time. They also believe all the lies that App rep tells them. Lawl! Bunch of noob retards.

  • one question: are you a linux fanboy?

  • @stmpoodle is linux better than any other os?

  • @IgnorantPCFanboys No. Windows for work/play. Mac for bling bling and fitting in with the elitist. Linux for the rebels.

  • @MrBrutus101 what a highly inaccurate, yet laughable explanation

  • @IgnorantPCFanboys Tell me why it's inaccurate? There's a lot of things i can say about Apple.

Apple boxed a dog turd and sold that iShit to iDiots.

  • @MrBrutus101 yes, you can say that. but it still doesn't change that it's highly inaccurate, yet laughable

  • @IgnorantPCFanboys It is laughable because. Oh that's right you don't have the brains to explain it.

  • @MrBrutus101 but you don't have that ABILITY to explain it

  • @IgnorantPCFanboys You think it's the most advanced OS but it's not. You don't see any OS X servers. In fact - Apple store runs under Linux and Win2000 servers.

If you don't believe me check their site.

  • @olliekill yeah, i thought so, too. it's sad when they are but still claim they are not fanboys

  • @IgnorantPCFanboys No, I am not.

  • @JeremyPassarelli are you stmpoodle?

  • I'm glad u got out of rehab. I love APPLE and PCs and Android. APPLE great quality products but they are looney on the price and the close system. APPLE Fanboy needs therapy.

  • @DJTEVAdotCOM I just watched this again because you commented. This is why my video making is slim lately. Only 360 views for what I believe is a really well crafted, with special effects, film. Thanks for the comments!

  • There are a few fanboys left but most have come to realize Apple over hypes their products.

  • I would have stayed with Linux but no one was willing to help me out with getting sound to work. The sound works great on the same computer booted up in windows. I'm not going to be a rocket scientist to get my sound to work. I'm willing to type in a few commands in terminal but no more. If I have to figure out what device is using what irq, forget it. They said they expected one to become an expert yet they said that they were there to help. A few $s to windows to keep things simple is fine.

  • LOL Chris was a idiot, he was smart. And if he would of not been taking it from Gates in the rear he would of made the big time. People got to just learn they just (Micro) plain suck ass and thats fact (no fan or boy about it) So why even go out and say so why even say this and that is good, you kill your career by doing so. Unless you get ho money on the side.

  • @adverseadverbs You may want to watch "The Pirates from Silicon Valley". Steve Wozniack said that the movie is realistic is its portrayal of its characters personalities. Good day.

  • Fan boys are delusional and silly. I used to be one of those hardcore Linux and Ubuntu fanboys. Looking back, however, I feel like such an idiot. I now use Windows 7 exclusively, and I love it. I also like Mac OSX, but I can't afford a Mac. Not that I mind, because Apple does not care about their customers. They'll do anything to make money, even if it means cheating their customers. It shouldn't matter what OS you use. If it makes you more productive, use it!

  • You should be concerned about your privacy, data is just exchanged these days like money, and once someone else gets it they do with it anything they want and it no longer becomes yours. I no longer trust Google, and if you think apple support is bad, Google's is worse believe it or not.

  • my responce vid is just a loke :-P

  • Great video Frank.

  • @LuckyLuxy thanks!

  • Patents now become more like Frivolous Law suites and Apple becomes the Ambulance chaser.

  • @blacksteel25 HTC has Microsoft going-ons under the hood and HTC therefore did the honest thing by paying for licenses to Microsoft and avoid litigation. But HTC has done nothing to warrant Apple. They just view HTC as a direct threat on their iPhone handsets and trying to bully them into submission. Apple is wrong!

  • @stmpoodle If HTC did realy violate M$ patents by using Android then why don't M$ go after Google? Maybe they are too scared to pick on somebody their own size? HTC are a very easy target for the likes of M$ and its just an easy way to get cash. I saw an article at OS News about how M$ make more money from HTC selling Adroid phones than they do from selling their own WP7 phones. The American patent system is broken and companies like Apple and M$ are using it to bully non-American companies!

  • @musl1m HTC is one of the only global phone manufacturers who are paying a licensing fee to Microsoft and avoid legal action. The others, Samsung, Motorola, etc., refuse to pay the license and therefore, Microsoft is going after them to protect their patent interests.

  • @stmpoodle That's my point HTC are an easy target and they gave in without a fight, Samsung and Motorola likely won't, eventually Google will likely step in as such action would damage Androids feasibility as a platform that can be used by OEMs. M$ has been claiming for years that Linux infringes their patents with little actual proof, its all scaremongering by a company quickly losing influence on emerging technology e.g. smart phones and tablets.

  • As far as the discussion on fanboys go, watch?v=48iE3Wp3mVU - just my opinions for those interested.

I make no apology in bringing it to the table if I think it's appropriate. It's only natural that all of us will be more hacked off with fanboys of the 'opposite side'. There are those who have tried - and can speak of the positives / negatives through experience (like yourself, even tho I may have a different opinion). Then there are those who for whatever reason voice their opinions...cont

  • Came across this vid as one of my subs thumbed it up.

In all honesty, nearly every time I get MacUser mag I skip through all the news pages that talk about X suing Y, A copies B etc - I'm only interested on news about interesting new products and reviews on them. As long as the company I base my work on are generally doing well, I won't need to invest in replacement equipment in my studio any time soon. That, these days is all I care about.

  • visionaries :P

  • And don't get me started with patents. Patents are supposed to be to protect the smaller companies from the massive ones. Not to lock out a feature exclusively to one company, like swipe gestors. Windows NT was the first OS that allowed you to highlight multiple icons with the lasso feature. Imagine only Windows can do that in 2011?

Patents are like insurance. Great to have, but abused way too many times.

  • People who like their product, and give their opinions on other products are fine with me. But, those who will tell you that your opinion is wrong, or argue with you and bring up points that have nothing to do with the debate, are the blind ones. or here's an example that makes me laugh. App A, just works better on B OS, and it sucks on C OS, and D OS, etc. WTF it's the same exact app. Stop being stupid. If fanboys didn't exist, we we'd all be learning more, instead of wasting time with to them

  • He even pointed out the iPad and iPad2, really? How close-minded.

  • I had all 3 of them but now only Windows and Linux and moste of the time I'm in Linux because it works better for me.

I run on all my pc's dualboot with Linux and Windows. Both run great and no problems with them.

I love them both for there own things but Linux is for me nr 1.

I did my Mac's away and I don't mis them.

Linux and Windows give me everything I need and want. The Mac never worked for me.

  • The irony is many think Chris is a fanboy. I now ignore fanboys, cause it's like talking to a wall. Closed mined fanboys are the worst. The creative one made a video on angry birds, and stated it was available on all iOS devices yet forgot android wp7 chrome, e readers etc.

  • 5:30 I think that sums me up!

  • I am 110% with you on supporting a smaller company that cares about its product and consumer is more important to me than a company that is more worried about its bottom line not because of profit or staying in business but because they have to pay share holders and make obscene profits in order to do so. One of the main problems we have in the economy is because of Wall Street.

  • You do know that Microsoft Acquired Skype.

  • In my opinion, you should use what makes you happy. That's all. A computer isn't a religion, it isn't a political stance, it's a tool to help you accomplish what you need to do from day to day.

I use and promote Linux every day, but I also have Mac and Windows, and I have no problem using those. I prefer Linux, so I use it primarily.

  • @thisweekinlinux Hey Jordan, Wel spoken and I agree with you.
